Welcome! There's no minimum number of posts you need to make (at least in the Coach subforum) before posting a request.

That's a strange listing and linda*s***stuff has had a history of (probably unknowingly but not verifying) listing fakes.

The bag is authentic but I'm not sure when all the extra props and decor were added. THey should be disclosed!

I don't believe the rocket ship and stars were done by Coach although they may be adorning vintage bags as part of their sales of the rehabbed classics. The decorations may have been added by a previous owner.

The hangtag with Saks's name on it didn't come with the bag nor did the pink horse and carriage hangtag shown in the description. The flower charm may be authentic but was added to the bag.
Thanks so very much for all the information - it's very helpful! I actually like the flower charm. I was wondering about the appliques b/c they somehow didn't seem right. Although I know Coach did a sort of NASA-inspired line at one point b/c I have a large tote w/ figures on it (bought through outlet), I think supposed to look like patches on astronauts' uniforms. I've recently become obsessed w/ finding a replacement for when my current bag wears out and now am finding others from the line that I like (although there don't seem to be many out there for sale). But the appliques are mostly printed onto the bag and only two appear to be separate. So I was thinking maybe this bag was related to that line somehow but not sure. Sorry if this belongs on a different forum now, but thought it was related to the bag I shared. Here's a photo of the bag I have that someone is selling (though I'm suspicious about the listing - it's from Japan and there appears to be an identical listing under a different seller name). no need to look that one up but if you're interested the sellers are
dinosaould-japan and minhmam - identical photos anyway (slightly different prices). THANKS AGAIN!!

Hello! This is a bag that I purchased at a thrift store a few months ago. Another Coach bag that I got at the same time was previously authenticated here (thanks again!) & I was hoping to find out about this bag as well. It's small, approx 9" wide and 5" tall. Thank you all so much for the help!

Hello - I'm new and unsure if I am allowed to post this yet - are there still a minimum number of responses to be made before one is allowed to post for authentication? It also says only seasoned authenticators should weigh in and if that's the case then I'm not sure how I would ever achieve a minimum number of posts! So here is this bag, I think it is probably authentic but may be from the 90's. Mainly I'm curious about its history if anyone has seen something like this before. Thanks much for your help!

I believe the rocket ship and stars could have been done by Coach. It looks like some things they released around the time they did the NASA collection, and they were auctioning some upcycled items around that time. I can't remember where or when the auction site was.

I've seen a few Japanese sellers appear to be selling the same item but for different prices. I've wondered if one is stealing the images or if they are actually owned by the same seller.

I can't remember for sure but there may have been some NASA stickers sold separately. I know they did it with some of the other collections. Some of the stickers were made of leather and could be used to decorate bags.

They did a collection of NASA/space items for full price stores and then later did an outlet collection.

It's an authentic demi turnlock made in 2000.

Thrift store find. Bag looks perfect, not a scratch or mark on it. Thank you for an authentication opinion. Measures about 10 x 7 x 4.

THANKS! Yes they did do some patches and stickers, I've seen those for sale too (some for more than the bag itself!) All the variations are interesting - and I always like having something a bit different so may need to go ahead and get this one [although the millions of bags in my closet would say otherwise ]

you know - I messaged one of the sellers letting them know it looked like someone stole their images and they said that often the images are "diverted" and "we don't know if they are trying to deceive us" kinda weird response, I suspect maybe the two "sellers" may be the same person? Either way it makes me a bit leery to purchase from either of them. One of them had some feedback about how they bought a bag but then the seller cancelled or didn't have it... something weird going on there anyway.

Don't you love when they don't know the good stuff?

I saw a fake Dooney at Saver's for $199.99, told them it was fake and it was still there at $200 3 weeks later. Yet I bought a genuine Metropolis bag is almost new condition for $6.99!
I got this at Value Village (sister to Savers). I've seen so many gaudy Big-C fake Coach bags...and they jack up the prices. This one, my bag, has crossgrain leather, they probably thought it was plastic. And the Coach logo is pretty small on the front button. I've gotten so many bargains there, including a vintage gucci wallet (I had it authenticated) for about $10.

Hello authenticators! Please help me determine if this bag is fake. It was gifted to me. Super grateful for the expertise as I am fairly new to the Coach world.

Item: Patricia Legacy K4H-9951
Where purchased or how obtained: Gift
Comments: Measures about 11” length, 9” height, 4.5” width
It's fake.
Thank you so much!
