Please follow the following requests:

The bag measures approx 13 1/4 by 10 1/2.

You're right, it's fake. The serial number is in the wrong font, and the date code isn't right for the style number. There are probably other problems too, but those two are proof positive that it's fake. I hope you didn't lose too much money on it.

That would work, then you can just carry it as a nice generic bag, maybe your "rain bag".

Genuine, and as you stated, a Legacy Zip from 1998.

I'm not seeing anything that looks like mold, but I've never tried to rehab a moldy bag. Maybe @whateve can take a look.

Comments: I was curious about this Taft so I asked the seller for creed pictures. She was very responsive but said that the creed was so faint she couldn't get a good picture. She sent what she had but I couldn't read them. I suggested dusting with eyeshadow and the results were a little better but still not good. These are the best of the pictures she sent but they are still very poor; are they enough for an opinion? Thanks!

It looks authentic. Did she check the pockets for the buckle? I've never had this style so I don't know if the buckle should be attached. If it is missing, she can return for not as described.
