Thanks for your help! How much should I sell it for? It's in great condition, although not new.
We don't advise on prices because value is subjective, depending on condition, demand, scarcity, etc. Search "Coach 14020" current and completed listings on various sites to see asking and selling prices. Keep in mind that sellers can ask however much or however little they want but it doesn't mean there's a buyer who'll purchase it.

Good luck.

Would you please authenticate this briefcase I purchased at the consignment shop? It's about 16" x 11" x 2.5" Thank you

Dear Authenticators,
Im pretty new here, but an avid reader. I found this bag today at Goodwill for $5. It is in bad shape, dry & flat with scuffs, but I hope to rehab it if it’s real.

It measures 10” tall x 12” wide at top and the bottom is a 7” circle. I googled the last four numbers, and some people call it a duffle or Helen’s Duffle.

The creed is H1P-9953. I used to think that meant 1991, but now, after reading your column a while, maybe it’s 2001? I’m really not sure.

I was excited to find it at that price, but hope you have good news about it’s authenticity. It’s so nice to have your opinions.

Thank you,
Teresa Talley

Hoping this bag is authentic  Thanks so much for your time.

Item: vtg coach willis grey
Site: Etsy
Seller: SamiranaTreasures
Link: www.etsy.com/listing/1203951639
One of the reasons we require seller IDs for authentication requests is because it allows us to search for a "history." Such is the case with SamiranaTreasures.

ETA: And to further confirm my reason for not recommending this seller is this current listing of a fake:

ETA Again: This is the bag for which she received her most recent feedback on Etsy. The poor buyer doesn't know that she paid $115 for a fake:

Authentic Helen's legacy made in 2001.

Look at the bright side - at least the "flower" parts of the grommets are on the inside of the strap, not the outside. And if you think of them as "flowers" maybe they'll feel a little less strange. :flowers:

EDIT!
I like your logic. She cleaned up beautifully, stars and all.

She cleaned up too beautifully and she's so soft! I'm always shocked by some of these bags and the come back. NOT selling!

Thank you! Before I would search this thread for sellers and did not this time obviously. Lesson learned

I purchased a Coach Aidy Lane pebbled leather satchel in Black with gold hardware, off eBay. I have never ordered anything before and am very new and inexperienced to Coach bags. I received the bag today and wanted to make sure it was real. I didn’t know I should have asked on here before purchasing or to ask for pics of the creed tag. The seller is https://www.ebay.com/ulk/usr/torch-queen?mkevt=1&mkpid=0&emsid=e11412.m43.l44715&mkcid=7&ch=osgood&euid=b27bbd5793b445f9bec8e5e50afd29a0&bu=45110778325&osub=-1~1&crd=20220331145408&segname=11412&sojTags=ch=ch,bu=bu,osub=osub,crd=crd,segname=segname,chnl=mkcid, item no 115259793088. The zippers are hard to open and close and some of the stiches look uneven. The thread on the outside is black but underneath it’s a dark red/purple. The rivets that say Coach don’t seem line up perfectly, the words seem to be crooked. Maybe I’m just being paranoid because of all the scammers out there. I don’t know what else to look for. The bag smells like real leather and seems very soft and pliable. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out. Thanks image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg
