It's authentic, made in 1995. I don't know about J5D numbers, it is J6D we see in a lot of fakes. Every ad I have for the station bag through 1997 shows a nonadjustable strap, but Coach allowed people to exchange straps or buy extras so some could have an adjustable strap. I don't have any ads for the early 2000s - those might have had an adjustable strap. I think the reissues in 2011 and other years probably had an adjustable strap.

Thank you! And thanks for the extra info!!!

Just bought this on eBay but I am getting a bad feeling about it. Can someone please authenticate?

Item: coach 9961 large red

Yeah, I'm sorry, it is fake.
Your instincts are correct, it's fake. There are several serious problems with the creed patch and serial number including an invalid serial number prefix without a valid year code. Get a full refund from the seller.
Remember to include seller ID: jayc1883

ETA: My records show that the same bag was reported and removed on March 24. Evidently, the seller relisted.

Comments: Hello everyone! Please authenticate when you get the chance. Is there anyway to tell if it's from the late 1980s or early 1990s or were they mostly the same? Thank you for everyone's help. Learning a lot through this forum. I'm still a newb, but I spotted some obvious fakes on my own! (Made in Korea, Coach brand interior zip pulls, China funny creed wording)

It looks good. It was made after 1988 and before 1994. That's as close as we can get.

Thank you for your help :)

2- genuine but the pictures aren't of the details I need to see to identify it, maybe another Taylor Zip? Early 1990s

Dear Authenticators, is this bag authentic?
Item: Coach Small Bag
Where purchased or how obtained :
Comments: Have not yet purchased.
This is how it works : Someone was looking for coach bags and others will post the bags they have. Then someone posted this one picture and I decided to contact her for more pictures. These are some that she sent.
There are hundreds of comments and I need to scroll through to find it.
I hope he is not mad that I posted a link to his search.
