It appears that through the years, Coach has changed the patches and labels they've used.

I did find a couple of other listings (different styles) that appear to be from the same era as the one above. None have tags so there's no way to ID the style numbers. (I didn't check the Wayback.)

Thank you all so much! I didn’t even think to check which side the buttons were on to determine if it was a man’s coat. (Can you tell I’m new to this?) My son will enjoy this nice leather jacket and we really appreciate your help.

It's fine, made in 1994.

The creed stamp and serial number are fine, and the bag was made in 1995. The "donated" stamp was put there by Coach.

However, the strap was NOT made like that by Coach. It's either a replacement, or a part of each end has been cut off to shorten the strap and the cut ends riveted back together. Coach hardly ever used rivets on vintage bags. There are a tiny handful of exceptions but this isn't one of them. The seller didn't list any strap length or drop so if you're needing a long length like the Willis strap would originally have come with, this bag may not have that long strap. But from the thickness of the strap at the ends and by the buckle, I believe the strap is a non-Coach and might be a poorer-quality replacement, those cut and riveted ends don't look good.

Thank you Hyacinth!
