I didn't ignore you. I am not familiar enough with the item to give a definitive answer.

I don't see red flags.

Thank you BeenBurned, @Hyacinth and @Roro . My first thought is that it is simply the Courier wristlet (like the one Roro shared, because that style is easy to find) but what threw me off was the color since I had never seen one in grey and secondly and more importantly, seller claims it does not have the usual handstrap and 1941 metal/leather hangtag because it is not the wristlet style but a clutch with different dimensions. To me, it appears that it really is the wristlet and the seller lost or is keeping the handstrap and hangtag! It may very well be genuine but the whole communication exchange that the seller and I had seemed rather odd if they can't be more forthcoming with info and more photos.

Their selling history is ... interesting. And not really in a good way. The bag itself is genuine and made in 2003.

It still looks like the snap was an addition and not original to the bag.

It's authentic and made in 1997.

I had one that I show in my records as "Sonoma Pocket Zip Pebbled Leather shoulder bag" but I may have added additional key words.

Concerns: no creed, strap has silver holes and buckle is gold colored, for the side seams-you can see through them-see last pic where daylight is streaming through the side of the purse.
