• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock

Comments: I add it's serial number below. Normally coach will avoid using "I" in their serial number because it's hard to differentiate "I" and "1". So I'm not sure if this purse is authentic.

It's genuine. We've seen that same mistake several times from the Hungary plant.

Hi I would like to know if my Coach Town Bucket bag is authentic, it came without dust bag but properly wrapped and all in a coach plastic bag but just a bit doubtful, I am attaching all pics and serial number
I bought from Amazon the seller was Amazon US. Price was not unusually less so pretty much regular sale price. Its just I need to confirm for my own peace of mind.

It came without dustbag, but everything else was properly wrapped the way originals are but just for my own peace of mind,

Definitely fake, the serial number is invalid. The "K" plant code has never been used for handbags in the US. Style 9966 is a Legacy Zip which wasn't even introduced until early 1997, it's shown as "NEW" in the Spring 1997 catalog, but the month and year code in the fake is for June 1995. And silver-color hardware wasn't used on handbags until 1998.

Like many Poshmark sellers, doesn't verify authenticity of her items.

That's a bummer. The one I bought had a Goodwill sticker inside; I'm sure it's an honest mistake. It's also how you find good deals on genuine things people don't know they have! I'm still sad I sold a Manor bag in 2016 for $45; now I see them for $300+. It's possible there wasn't a market for them at the time, but I definitely did not know what I was doing.

Please give us about 12 hours (at least) before bumping a post. The authenticators volunteer our time, get no compensation for your expertise and have lives with families, obligations, jobs, real life.

Your first request was at 3:20 am (my time) and although I keep erratic hours, I was sound asleep at that time!

I don't see any problems with the bag.

It's a genuine Bleecker Zip made in 1999
