Please post authenticity questions related to COACH in this thread. No PMs please.

Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item
  • Back of item
  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

You're welcome. I said hangtag but meant zipper pull. Someone was selling a zipper pull with a hangtag from recent bags for $5 a couple of days ago on ebay. If you find a good supply of reasonably priced zipper pulls, let me know. I made one once and it was a disaster.

The problem is the color, because the navy isn't really dark. The person who sells lots of zipper pulls, straps, etc., has a lot of colors, but I think the navy is really dark. So would that be better than a buff colored leather shoe lace on a clip? I'm not sure.

On my bag, the navy is very dark. The original pull was navy on the outside and natural on the inside. If you have leather refinisher, you could color it however you want. I think the natural color would look fine.

I contacted Poshmark customer service about it, saying that reporting fake items as they suggest, seems to be useless.

They surprisingly replied very prompt and asked me to send them the link to the listing. I hope this nasty liar gets what she deserves, but I am not holding my breath. I read her last rant, gosh! :shocked:

Is it reportable that she's listing it as NWT, and states in the comments that the price tag is not attached? I don't know anything about Poshmark; it has always creeped me out, especially the constant "Trade Hun?" questions. Why does everyone assume on there that sellers are members of a no longer existant East Asian nomadic people group?

Hahaha that seller claims to be certifiable and has the papers to prove it. I believe her. She has some... interesting viewpoints. "If I can pull it up on the Internet it's not copyright infringement." :roflmfao:

I wish she hadn't blocked me! I was blocked after posting in the listing she ended before relisting this one. I wasn't even argumentative, which I can be when I want to be!

What amazes me is that PM doesn't seem to be reading her nasty comments!

I keep checking the listing, hoping that it is gone, but no... still there. I also mentioned to PM customer service, she blocks everyone that dares to post anything that contradicts her, no matter how polite or helpful the person is trying to be.

I really am being turned off by PM, with Ebay we know that some fakes that are reported are pulled, others no. In PM it looks not only that you can report till doomsday and nothing happens, but their CS although very nice and fast to reply, they do nothing! I have the feeling that if a problem arises with a sale, you might be equally ignored, not a good site.
