lol!

Thank you for the support. Someone in that discussion implied that I was a troll!

You're welcome! Unfortunately, critical thinking is becoming a rare skill these days, so consider the source of the troll implication. They're either paid, a personal friend, or not firing on all cylinders.
I thought it was especially odd that OCD4C tried to mommy/ daddy (err, mommy/ mommy?) you and BeenBurned.
Is it wrong to hope she comes here so I can see her get a new one ripped by the third part of the checks and balances system of this particular AT?

The more I look at this, the more I'm not convinced it is authentic. These are supposed to be solid brass, so what is that silvery stuff? Mine looks more detailed and delicate.

The seller also has the daypack but the picture is too fuzzy to see anything.
Can it be authenticated with just one picture? I saw one at a thrift store (might have been different style) and there were markings on the bottom that would need pics.

The seller, pollards21 did have a previous fake and clearly, she doesn't buy from the store and she doesn't authenticate before listing. :nono:

Although her other listing pictures are blurry, there are differences in the lozenge as well as the chain:

The third part? Is that a someone or a something? Does it refer to one of the regulars here who has a tendency to go ballistic when faced with stupidity, perfidity, mendacity, or just out-and-out moron-ity? (Crosses fingers)

(Waves frantically) Oooooooo, please please please Pick me! Pick me!!!! I LOVE ripping some freakin' moron a new poop-chute!

"Scuse me while I loosen up my hammer arm... :smash:

All I have are a few catalog photos, so if someone has the real item they should probably take a look.

I was trying to be somewhat subtle, but it is indeed a someone, perhaps sometimes referred to as Mrs. Boo-kay. Since this is not an issue that particularly concerns me as a general poster, I believe I should bow out and stfu now. :smile1:

Oh, wow, now I can really see lots of differences in the daypack. The chain is totally wrong, the ring just above the backpack is too big, too thin, and too round, and isn't attached in the right place.

There aren't supposed to be markings on the bottom of the duffle sac. It is harder to tell if this one is fake, but there are some things that have me worried - the silver metal peeking through, the buckle on the left looks too thick, the ring attaching the hangtag looks too thick and the curve at the top of the duffle seems slightly off.

Thank you so much! I'm new here and Idk anything about purses yet lol. I've stared at that stupid serial number for 20 minutes trying to make sure it's correct and I'm still pretty sure its L2S-9521. If it was my mom who bought it, it would have been purchased at a Coach Outlet because that's the only Coach store near me.

Ok, I'm also seeing an L2S- prefix in that photo which is no problem. But someone at the plant still might have stamped the second half of the style number wrong, that style number is either a 9521 (belongs to a different bag) or a 9621 (which I don't have any information about in any of my files or sources. Which means it COULD be that style, we have no way of verifying that).

The bag is definitely genuine although if you're planning on selling it you should explain the possible mistake in the number and post a link to these posts or the URL of the page they're posted on.

You can stop staring at the number now. :cray:

Whateve, the 1995 catalog where they're introduced says they're brass-PLATED. So they could be ok. I don't see any problems.

Awwwww, don't run off - it's so nice to be appreciated for some of my more negative qualities!

Thanks. Mine feel heavy so they are either solid brass or lead plated with brass. Maybe they changed the composition when they changed the style numbers? The daypack has problems with the chain. The daypack itself might be okay.

I'm not going to report them. I doubt they will sell at those prices anyway.

Hi I am wanting to authenticate an older coach that belonged to my mother. The feel, look, and stitching look to be authentic but the serial number is L2S-9521 and I can't find a another one online with that number anywhere.
I think I found it! You're misreading the style. I'm prety sure it's 9621 and although there aren't viewable pictures, this listing described it as a Legacy milled leather hobo which doesn't sound far off!
http://www.shopgoodwill.com/auctions/Authentic-Coach-9621-Legacy-Milled-Leather-Hobo-18534240.html

And while I am not a fan of Tradesy, there's one listed there:
https://www.tradesy.com/bags/coach-vintage-hobo-bag-black-1590870/

From the Tradesy listing:

That has to be it! I've found traces of other listings on Google but they all seemed to be dead ends. Thanks, BB!

Never fear; I've got two empty halves of coconut, and I'm ready to ride.

Where'd you get the coconuts?

We found them.

Found them? In Mercia?! The coconut's tropical!

What do you mean?

Well, this is a temperate zone.

The swallow may fly south with the sun or the house martin or the plover may seek warmer climes in winter, yet these are not strangers to our land?

Are you suggesting that coconuts migrate?

Not at all. They could be carried.

What? A swallow carrying a coconut?

It could grip it by the husk!

It's not a question of where he grips it! It's a simple question of weight ratios! A five ounce bird could not carry a one pound coconut.

Well, it doesn't matter. Will you go and tell your master that Hyacinth Bouquet is here?

~No further argument is possible~
