I have that one. It's so pretty that it seemed like a shame to let it go through life as a keychain, so I made it into a pendant. Hubby managed to "persuade" the old links to come off and I replaced them with a jewelry bail. :girlsigh:
I keep meaning to do that with my frog. Maybe I should do it with the enameled St. Bernard and the bluebird too.

And there's also less chance of it getting banged around and losing one of the stones. Coach keychains are famous for that.

I did the same thing with a gorgeous jeweled flower keychain bought from a lovely tPFer.

I suppose you could call it a "SuperB Owl" (cunning "What We Do In The Shadows" reference :giggle: )

I don't use any keychain as actual keychain. They all gets used as my bag charms.

The same here. No, wait, I have 2 or 3 leather ones that are actually on sets of keys. But when something is pretty enough to be a piece of jewelry, make it a piece of jewelry.

It makes me a bit sad that the stylish thing these days is that personal electronics seem to have taken the place of jewelry as personal adornments. Keep your Apple Watches and FitBits, give me a nice hunk of 14k or sterling silver and some pretty, sparkly stones every time.

YMMV.

And mine never need batteries or recharging.

Didn't you also do the same thing with a sterling silver jeweled starfish?

Yep, it WAS a Starfish keychain, I must have flowers on the brain. It's pretty enough to be a flower. And sterling silver IS jewelry, as I see it. With what's been going on in the last year and a half, there hasn't been much chance to wear jewelry. There's no one to even notice it other than the cashiers at the grocer's and Walgreens.

Dear authenticators,

please advise if this Kent bag is authentic. A friend is looking to sell this. It looks ok to me but just want to make sure.
