Both are authentic but I don't know the name of the second style.

Hello, I was just informed that another Coach seller on Poshmark has been reporting my authentic bags as fake. I had this authenticated awhile back but I want to do it publically. Thank you 10.5" x 9.5" x 6"
Have you escalated your reports to TPTB at Poshmark?

The bag is authentic and whoever Poshmark is listening to needs to stop reporting. They aren't as expert as they think they are!

Thank you. I did not realize why my bags were disapearing from my closet, however several scam accounts were created and some of them even messaged me in my closet. I think several of them "Flag" the bags in order to get the automated system to automatically remove the listing. It would have to be something Poshmark IT department investigates.

I am not really sure how all that works. I just wanted to make sure that I publically authenticate it. It was really strange to have the bag disapear from my closet yesterday.

What shocks and upsets me (and is much of the reason why I don't support, recommend or authenticate Poshmark) is that I can't believe and don't think they have an "automated system" to remove listings.

Over the years, I've reported hundreds of fakes listed on Poshmark and even got suspended for making advisory (polite) posts suggesting that items need to be authenticated. Those dishonest sellers didn't appreciate being caught peddling fakes and rather than suspend the scofflaw selling fakes, PM chose to suspend the messenger.

And of the hundreds (if not thousands) of fakes I've reported there, I can count on one hand the number that were removed. And most, if not all were ended by the seller who didn't realize they were fake.

As I understand, Poshmark has random (non-expert) members review listings for which reports are submitted and if those non-experts mark the items as fake, they might be removed. But since they aren't expert in the brands, authentic items can be removed too.

If you know who's doing it or if you get messages that seem to come from pot-stirrers, can you report them?

Ugh! I hate poshmark!

Interesting... I do have it written on my page that I get all of my bags authenticated at the TPF and that has helped. However, the Sonoma bag had that written also and was removed last night. I believe Poshmark does keep a record of all of the reports, so they can view who is reporting what. I was messaged by someone named Scamaccountcheck who asked me what products I use to condition my Coach bags about a week ago. I have also had other accounts with strange names message me but I usually ignore them.

Hi Authenticators,
I'm at Goodwill again and found this backpack. It's a little beat up but if it's real it'll be fun to fix up. Here's some pics. Thanks as always for your help. If you need more details please let me know. I have a measure tape somewhere.

How disheartening to hear about Poshmark. Apart from owning Coach bags, I've only been "into" rehab and resale for a few months. It seemed such a fun, clear-cut thing, find an old purse, restore its beauty as best I can and then help find it a new home. More a hobby than a money making thing for me. And now it's become so muddy, with people "lying" about authenticity, saying it is, and lying, saying it isn't, and non-expert experts, and innocent victims galore. I appreciate you guys here for being an authority I can trust!

Yes if this continues, I will have to let Poshmark know. I would never report someone else's authentic Coach bags. I could not imagine as an adult creating fake accounts to harass other sellers. I expected the same consideration. Clearly that consideration was not reciprocated. Whoever is creating these fake accounts and reporting authentic bags compulsively has way too much time on their hands.

I know what you mean, I really enjoying finding Coach treasures and bringing out their true beauty for others to enjoy. That is how I fell in love with vintage Coach and their amazing craftmanship. I have met a lot of really awesome people and I have learned so much since I joined the Purse Forum. That is what I focus on. I think for some indiviudals with a vandetta, they will use any means necessary to eliminate the competition. The flack is awlays heaviest when you are over the target, so whoever is going after people will end up exposing themselves.
