Unfortunately, you're right, it's VERY fake. Invalid plant code AND a style number that belongs to a Janice's Legacy. There's also a problem with the turnlock. Take it back.
Thanks Hyacinth! I appreciate your expertise. I think I'll use it as a punching bag to get rid of my anger right now. Haha. Plus they'll just try to sell it again and I won't let that happen. Thanks again.

Hi all! I’m interested in having this authenticated, if possible.

Item: Vintage Coach Courier
Listing number: 144165122628
Seller and site where listed: shague55 on eBay
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Co...p2349624.m46890.l6249&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0
Comments: Although it looks authentic to me, it’s the only vintage Courier I’ve seen that says made in the United States and not NYC (my putty one is NYC). Thanks for any info! I just purchased this today.

The bag in the listing is genuine and was made in the late 1980s.

Though it looks good, I just want to verify that the logo on the front of the bag isn't as crooked as it looks. Was the leather bent for the picture?

It was made in 2008 and I'm not sure of the official name but is a Soho satchel.

Apology for that, here is logo i took earlier.

Thanks BeenBurned
The last photo said E8C 9927. Is that 1998?
I asked the seller and she said it was original strap. I have a brown willis and the strap is different.

I'm not BeenBurned, but yes, if the serial number begins with E8C- it was made in 1998.

The strap looks like it's been shortened and some sort of rivets added to hold the extra length down. The seller may have modified it and may no longer be a crossbody length unless the rivets or whatever they are can be removed without damaging the strap. The seller's photos aren't showing the full extent of the strap modification, but it's not in original condition. There should never be any kind of rivet or screw or whatever those are on a genuine Willis. Please examine it very closely when you receive it if you buy it.

Below is the 1998 Holiday catalog page for that style (click the thumbnail to enlarge) - note that there are NO rivets or screws of any kind in the strap, and the catalog gives the length as 48 inches which is 120 cm. The bag should be able to be comfortably carried cross-body.

It's possible that maybe there were just one or more extra holes punched and the strap itself hasn't been permanently shortened but as I said, I can't see the details of the modification and whether or not those rivet-like hardware bits are permanent.

Thank you Hyancith
I think the seller should make it clear that the strap has been modified. Partly my fault as I only asked if it was the original strap. Of course it could be an original strap but with modified rivets etc.
I am having second thoughts about purchasing the purse as the seller is not being entirely honest. I never sold anything on Ebay but I am pretty sure those are the details that a seller should disclose.
Have a lovely evening

Well, I feel like a dummy. I thought this was the yellow version of fob style 92477, Daphne Flower Multi Mix. I've only seen the purple version to compare, but after receiving the key chain and seeing it up close, I'm pretty sure it's a fake. Can anyone confirm?

Seller: ltirone02
Comments: lozenge doesn't have any stamp on back, font/spacing on the charms seems off, some of the letters have enamel "coating" over them, the last link connecting charms to the keychain itself is thin. It's either pretty sloppy or fake. But from far away, it's still really pretty so I can use it, but just would want to know not to resell when I'm through with it. Additional pictures below.

Thank you!

Definitely fake, even the font used for those Coach logos is wrong. And a chain that thin is always a red flag.
