Authentic. No measurements so can't be sure but it is probably a basic bag. It seems to be inadvertently two tone. That happened because different pieces of leather took the dye differently. It was made in the early 80s.

Photo measurements show approx 11" x 7.5"-8". Does that mean it's a Basic Bag? Catalog?

Both are genuine.

The City Bag is NOT vintage, it's one of the Chinese made remakes from 2011 and probably won't have the same leather characteristics as the vintage bags. It won't be vintage for another 10 years.

Style 9965 is often mis-named as a Trail Bag but it's not, it's a Legacy Small Flap Bag.The bag in the listing has the correct strap for that style.

Thanks for your quick response! I was searching every seam last night as I was cleaning the ink stains but no luck. I noticed the zip pulls look like an older almost vintage style so I was wondering if this was before the white tags?
