Please post authenticity questions related to COACH in this thread. No PMs please.

Please follow the following requests:

• Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
• Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.

• Front of item

• Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
• Made in tags (when available)
• Measurements
• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
• For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
• If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

Because of Poshmark's miserable history of allowing fakes to be sold, incorrectly "authenticating" many items in-house, and frequent refusals to refund buyers who bought items that were correctly confirmed as fake, NO Poshmark listings will be authenticated without this information.

Patches in those cosmetic cases NEVER take up one entire side of the pouch. I'll bet you dollars to donuts that piece of leather was cut out of a fake Willis and sewn into the pouch. The stitching is AWFUL and the serial prefix is completely invalid.

I did notice how big the patch was and thought it looked unusual - the reason I was relying on you ladies for guidance! Someone went to so much trouble for nothing.

Nope, the creed wasn't cut from a Willis bag. In fact, it's W5S-9927, a new fake number I have several other W7B examples of in my records but this is a first for W5S.

I found a cache of chavestevendedor's listing and enlarged and brightened the creed.

It's probably okay. I can't read the creed. I think it says made in the Dominican Republic. It's 7170 skinny case.

It's authentic. You're right, it isn't a Musette. The seller is also wrong about the dates. It was made very late 80s or early 90s. Good luck on the rehab!

Question: Is the correct name for this bag the "Legacy Small Pocket Zip"? I tried to find it on the Wayback Machine but I struck out (although I found lots of other Legacy, Legacy West, and Legacy Zip bags from this era!)
