I reported the fake keychain to shopgoodwill and they have now closed the auction but I got a rather snotty note from the representative.

The first response I received was that "they would look into it and make a decision" but later the item was still listed for auction with one bid so I shared the information and the comparative photo that @BeenBurned provided.

I was only trying to provide helpful information but the representative responded "Did you look before doing all that to see that the listing was removed??"

I thought that they would appreciate the information but apparently not; I should have just let them sell a phony piece of junk!

I think that this is another fake on shopgoodwill but I'm not going to report it!

You're correct.

Why not report? Never mind. I read this post before the previous.

Jerks!

Four people have already bid on the fake briefcase so I relented and decided to report it, let's see if I get a better response this time!

Thanks in advance!
The red bag is authentic.

I don't believe the keychain is genuine.
Thank you! And yeah, I’ve never come across a similar looking keychain so I wanted to double check. Shame because it’s pretty cute
Is the keychain listed somewhere? Link?

Well, this time I got a much nicer response to my message about the fake Coach briefcase on Shopgoodwill!

"Hello,

Thank you very much for your email.

I have cancelled the auction and the item will be sent back to the original store of donation.

Thank you for your interest in our auction and have a Goodwill day,

Michael Haberland
Goodwill of Southern NV"

It's likely that the "original store of donation" will just sell it on site but we have to remind ourselves that we can't save the world. If they (Goodwill) really want to be in compliance with the law, they'd destroy the bag because they KNOW they aren't allowed to sell it! Why waste time and money sending it back?
