Hum...I just noticed the creed photo (after looking at it several times) and the 1st section of numbers/letters is backwards. It reads 5CM instead of the usual pattern of C5M. Does that change the authenticity? Or would this be a plant stamping fluke?

I'm not comfortable authenticating that bag because the bag you received from emaasad-0 is NOT the bag shown in the listing. And in fact, even the seller's listing (with a serious lack of pictures) shows a stock image of a different style!

It's misleading (at best) and dishonest (at worst) for a seller to show pictures of a different item than the one you are buying!

I can't read either of the pictures showing the creeds but if you can take a better picture, it might help.

The following pictures show differences between what was in the listing vs. what you received. At this point, I don't know if either is authentic.

It appears authentic. It was made in the early 1990s. The creed wording is correct for that time period.

I don't recommend that the listing shown by either BOTCHIENTRUNG on ebay or VIETKINGTRAVEL on Poshmark because the pictures ARE NOT the actual bag.

The pictures are stolen from another seller, "mybagvault" (on ebay but bag not listed there) and this listing in which the description states that she's the seller.

The bag shown in the poshmark and ebay listings has a different creed than the same bag sold by My Bag Vault.

botchientrung (on ebay) aka vietkingtravel (on Poshmark) is located in Tampa, FL.
My Bag Vault is located in Shingle Springs, CA.

Other listings from both the ebay and Poshmark IDs use pictures that appear to come from different sources.

I originally saw on Ebay under the seller Botchientrung and saved it in my Ebay watchlist but didn't realize it until after I purchased it on Poshmark. So I actually purchased via Poshmark vs Ebay. When I originally posted the authenticity question, I erroneously used the Ebay link vs the Poshmark link. The listing has since been listed as ENDED on ebay (after purchased via Poshmark) and shown as shipped today. I am going to ask the seller if the pics are the original pics of the briefcase and the same serial number as pictured in both the Ebay and Poshmark pics (0514 323). Thank you for the feedback. Hopefully, I am not being duped.

The listing shows an authentic bag so as long as you got what was pictured, you're fine. The style is highly faked.

My concern is that she stole pictures of a similar bag (possibly same style) in a different condition. The creed she showed might be of the actual bag but if condition is important to you, compare the condition of the bag you get to the listing.

If you'd like, you can post pictures of the bag you receive once you get it.
