Could someone take a look at this bag for me? And, is the actual, proper name a Saddle Bag? This seems like one of the most commonly misnamed bags out there.

There's nothing to lose by trying. And the fact that the listing (along with 2 others) was removed as fake can't hurt.

Before opening a SNAD dispute, contact ne.vtg.finds and try to work it out without a dispute. (If the seller is smart, she'll just tell you to dispose of the bag and issue a full refund. It's a waste of money for her to pay return shipping for an item that's illegal to resell.)

Then, if the seller refuses, open a dispute.

Refer her here if necessary.
I have discovered, to my chagrin, that I cannot leave negative feedback because the listing was removed by Ebay. And because the seller cannot send a return shipping label (I am in Canada) I would have to pay about $33 US to ship the bag back. I suspect that this seller would fight the return because the bag is not in the same condition. GRRRRR.

It's NOT a Saddle Bag since it has an NYC creed which means it was made before 1988 and that makes it a Crescent Bag, style 9235. The Saddle Bag 9988 in a similar style wasn't introduced until 1997. It's genuine.

Good evening! Can you please authenticate this? I’m adding a brightened close/up of the creed—which I think is F0P-9375—as it’s a little hard to see and the rest of the photos are in the link. The number is clear-ish, but the words are very hard to read; please let me know I would need to provide a better image for authentication. Separately, does F0P mean it was made in 1990 or 2000? (I’m testing myself here ) Thank you!

Item: Vtg Coach Dinky Black Crossbody Bag 9375

It's genuine and made in 2000.

The bag is authentic but I'd be interested to know who does the authenticating. I recall fakes from the same seller in the past.

Did you ask her if she'd willingly cover return shipping and send you the cost through Paypal?

If ne.vtg.finds is an honest seller, she should do the right thing.
