Thank you and be safe!

Thank you so much! Wow, it's scary how people are copying newer 1941 styles and how the hardware is all engraved with "Coach". But I guess the price says it all... I was to get it for about USD100.
The post you quoted (where I said, "It's authentic, I believe called Hamptons satchel") is not referring to the bag you asked about.

I answered your post and told you that the bag from bronzeve on Carousell is fake.

I want to add that you want to be careful making judgements based solely on price. Some sellers have authentic items and either got great deals or they don't realize what they have and they have great prices. Others charge a lot of money precisely to fool buyers into believing that a fake must be genuine at that price.

Price is not necessarily indicative of authenticity.

It's fake. And a badly-made fake too. I'm seeing a lot of small problems with the stitching and construction (look at the outside of the strap, the stitches on one side don't even match the other side! And that's on the OUTSIDE of the strap, not the inside), the serial number has an invalid code, and except for Bonnie Cashin styles, I only know of one style of pre-China vintage leather Coach that was even close to that shade of pink. It's not a color Coach used until around 2002 or 2003 AFAIK. It also looks like at least one piece of hardware doesn't have a detail that it should have.

Always be careful with "Coach" items in unusual colors that you've never seen before. Counterfeiters made a lot of fakes in colors that Coach never produced during the time period those fakes were supposedly made.

Compare this photo of a GENUINE style 9027 strap to the close-ups of the pink one in that listing:

“Foach”

Hello, I have been looking for a vintage Willis in the dark brown color and I came across one on my local second-hand app. Could you please help me to authenticate this baby?

Also could you please let me know if you have any tips to "fix" the wears in this piece or would you not recommend me to get this?Thank you!
The bag shown is authentic. Make sure the bag you receive is the same one.

I recommend caution when buying from Carousell as it's a site where there are a lot of fakes, some very close ones.

This appears to be another fake Emmie? The creed and the back of the hardware on the flap looks suspect

I think the request was skipped for a couple of possible reasons.

1. There may not be someone who knows that bag well enough to authenticate it.
2. (This is more likely.) The pictures in the listing aren't adequate for authentication purposes. There's at last one missing picture that is necessary and if more pictures are needed, they'll be requested.

From the post at the top of the page:
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.
I'd also like to see clear pictures of both sides of the made in tag.

Dear Authenticators. Allow me to kindly revisit this bag with requested pics mentioned by BeenBurned. Pls see attached. Thank very much
