Please follow the following requests:

• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock

It's authentic. It's a duffle sac #9085, made in the late 70s or early 80s. I wonder if it is really black. It looks purple in the pictures.

Did you ask about this bag on another site before you asked here? I was asked in private about that bag before you posted here.

Because when someone posts obscenity-loaded insults directed to the authenticators and other members here while hiding behind the locked doors of his Private Facebook groups and then expects us to sweetly forgive him and do his authenticating and research for him while he calls us every filthy name in the book, that's when we have every right to call him out for his actions. If any of his members want to help him because he can't or or is unwilling to do it on his own and is incapable of listening to people with a lot more experience and common sense than he's displayed so far, that's their decision. NOT helping someone like him who won't listen and has treated us with nothing but hatred and contempt is OUR decision, specifically the people who have been on the receiving end of his vile insults and venom. Anyone else is perfectly free to do whatever they're comfortable doing.

Sorry he dragged you into this, but that's what he does. After the way he's treated people on a dozen forums and selling sites, he's running, or has already run, out of people "out here" willing to help him. Members of his sites are always welcome here as long as they don't bring him or his baggage along with them. We don't ban members of his FB pages from this site like he bans tPF members from his, as long as they follow the forum rules like everyone else.

The bag is authentic but I have 2 comments.

1. The seller knows enough about having items authenticated to know that the creed is absolutely necessary for authentication purposes.
2. The seller (and you) are incorrect about when the bag was made. It was made in 2001.

I've never seen it before but it appears authentic, made in 1999.

Great thanks. Most of the Pearlized Nappa productsthat come up when I search are Coach Italy. I did not realize Turkey too. I'm really excited to add this to my collection.

I've seen Italy in 1998 and China in 2000. This might be the first Turkey I've seen for that line. The Italy styles I've seen have suede lining, so might be a bit more luxe.

I don’t know if i bought an authentic Coach Cassie or not. I am just having doubts after my cousin got the same bag from a different IG Seller. The receipts presented had the same Transaction ID, Store ID, Register, Associate & Operator. My receipt’s outlet store is located in PA and my cousin’s in TX. So this made me re think if my bag and her bag is legit or not. Hoping to find an answer.

Please post links to both your seller's item as well as the seller from whom your cousin purchased. These are sellers to AVOID.

Unfortunately, the Philippines seems to be one of the from which there are more fakes than authentic items and the fakes there are very close. When I saw that you purchased from a ".ph" seller, I was suspicious.

Without even scrutinizing the pictures, the fact that the receipts have all the same info is proof that they're fake. (It's also something I've seen in similar listings of fakes from Japanese sellers. In many of the Japanese listings, the customer names are the same also!) No two receipts should EVER be identical.

Congrats to you on being observant enough to catch the receipts!

Use extreme caution when buying from sellers located in the PI or better, try to avoid Filippino sellers. While there are plenty of dishonest US sellers, you're more apt to be able to find genuine items from sellers located in the US.

I hope both you and your cousin are able to get refunds.

ETA: I just looked at the pictures and the bag is fake.

I had a gut feel when i got the bag that it might be fake, cos the Tag said it was Khaki. Luckily, my cousin got her refund already. My seller said she will have the bag picked up tomorrow and will give me my refund.
