I love that skinny case. I can't remember if I've ever seen one in canvas.

That particular case isn't in my files, but I have a hunch what line it's from.

Remember those dark Navy twill and leather trim bags with pillow ticking lining from around 1999 from the Greenwich line that we've never found in catalogs? I think the case is that same dark navy twill and caramel leather trim. Like these:

The creed wording is exactly the same too.

I've seen the X and K confusion with "marxings" too and always try to see the letter in question both ways to make sure my brain isn't playing tricks on me, but this seems different. I'm seeing 2 diagonal lines like on the left half of an X on the left half of the letter in the photo.

And I found 2 Completed listings with K5D- prefixes, and it doesn't seem like a K from that plant and year could ever be mistaken for anything else.

Refurbished X or K5d-9085:

compared to an apparently genuine K5D-9952:

I think regardless of what that letter may or may not have been originally, it's an "X" now.

Just to add, I'm sure now that the stamp has the original details and the "X'' if that's what it is, is just a stamping mistake. So far the "factory" or what's left of it doesn't seem to be making any changes to the original stampings, but I really wish we could see more details on those bags.

I have that twill bag (Greenwich line) but I think mine is black/charcoal, not navy. Love the size of it!

Comments: I just received the creed today. Sorry its upside down.
Authentic Willis made in 1997.

Dear Authenticators,

I already received this bag which was a great deal but because replicators out there seem to be really getting better with fake versions, I thought I should still have it authenticated. It is the reimagined and updated Musette bag released by Coach a couple years ago. I hope it is certainly genuine so I don't have to return it! Many kind thanks.
Seller is listed as Susan Krueger

I don't see problems.

Other opinions are welcome.

Thanks very much, BeenBurned. I guess I was slightly wary because the strap gold hardware of this purchased bag has "Coach" engraved in a dark finish (see pic) as compared to the official pic posted on the Coach website which is more even toned with the gold brass color (pic also attached). I suppose there could be variations in hardware finishes, as well as normal wear (even though seller listed the bag as new, it is certainly used with lint in pockets, normal wear signs, and paper clips and a piece of paper that were mistakenly left inside!)

But the inside pockets in that one don't match either of the previous bags. One looks like it's zipped, one is open unless that's a smaller slip pocket on top of a larger pocket, the pictures aren't clear or complete enough. It doesn't have a glued-on patch with a creed and no serial number. It does have one very small but slightly "off" detail.

And there's a Poshmark seller who almost always uses "Likes" in PM listings to highlight bags that he thinks are fake. Any Like from him raises a question in my mind about the real meaning of his "Like" and whether he thinks he sees a problem, and he "Likes" this one. I can't help but wonder why. HE has an "authentication service", why not ask HIM to authenticate it?

Like the others you posted, this one:

doesn't have a glued-on patch either.

It's the sewn-on pocket and glued-on creed patch without any serial number that are the problems with yours. Pictures of bags that DON'T have those same details don't do anything to prove to me that yours is genuine.

I don't know who he is sorry. Thi

I don't know who he is. I'm not on selling websites but just Google items I'm interested in or researching. Thanks for your help!!!
