Dear Authenticators,

Good morning! I purchased the following bag from Shopgoodwiil.com in a rush without having a chance to ask for your expertise for its authenticity first, because it says on Shopgoodwill.com it has been authenticated. But after reading some posts on this forum, now I seriously wonder if Entrupy can be trusted. So, I would like to ask if you can kindly authenticate the following bag for me, even though it is already shipped and on its way to me. Thanks a million for your kind help!

1) Item: Coach Courier Bag
Listing number: 121790380
Seller and Site where listed: Goodwill.com
Link: https://www.shopgoodwill.com/Item/121790380

May you all have a very blessed day!

It sounds like they are implying that entrupy only verifies counterfeit materials. What makes a material counterfeit? Any counterfeiter can buy leather and hardware. They could even buy them from the same suppliers that Coach uses. It isn't until they add logos and creeds that the item becomes counterfeit.

And from of the cwappy fakes they've "authenticated" as genuine, they do a p1ss-poor job with analyzing just the leather and hardware! It sounds like all they're doing is counting the stitches. We've seen bags with well-known fake serial numbers that a simple search with Google could have spotted, and even fakes with the wrong style numbers that they've certified as authentic. They're not analyzing the hardware either, I've seen several Foaches with obviously non-Coach turnlock plates and zipper pulls.

Whatever their "system" is, it's completely useless with vintage Coaches and Entrupy is too arrogant and publicity-hungry to ever admit it.

And it's not just Coaches:

1- genuine Ergo Zip from 1997. I'm not sure why you're including "9310" in your request?

2- genuine, probably 1980s. I don't know what color it is.

3- I'm not comfortable at all with that bag. There are several questionable details, the creed is unreadable, and I haven't seen that serial font and format before. It looks like it's trying to be a Sheridan but several critical details are wrong or missing. There are only 5 DIGITS in the serial number which tells me it's a Korean fake.

We're extremely short-handed this week and it may take a while to get someone to look at it. I don't do newer styles, sorry.

Hello! I picked up this small multicolor crossbody 2nd hand, and am not sure if it is authentic? It doesn’t have the creed inside which makes me skeptical.

The only interior tag is a black made in China tag and the purse measures 7” by 8”. Thanks for your help!

Smaller bags are considered accessories and often don't have creeds or serial numbers.

It's genuine, I think from around 2007 give or take a year or two. It was made for the Factory Stores and that's all the information I have.

Hi, all. I have a couple of goodwill finds that I'd love to have authenticated, if you'd be so kind.

First one:
