ETA: Sorry, wrong thread:nuts::lol::lol:

Don't do it!!! @pammbw

I don't know if it was a reaction to all the prior products or the strength of the washing powder alone, but it has eaten through the leather and I have around five deep pits/HOLES in the leather - on the flap and through the PIPING!
I'm absolutely devastated. It does take the polish off but not if it also kills the leather itself!

I'm so so so upset. It's basically an official loss now. Will extract the parts.

Literally trying not to cry. Hundreds wasted.

Too late. We'll see what happens when it's all dry.

I'm so sorry this happened to you and it cost so much money! Mine was cheap so no big loss but I feel so bad for all your frustration! I wish you many beautiful bags in your future to make up for this!

Hi Authenticators,
I think I finally found a decent bag at my local Goodwill so I'm excited to see if it's authentic. I never owned a bag from Costa Rica but it feels nice and I've heard good things about them here. I'm hoping it's ok. Your input is appreciated. Thank you!!

Hi Authnticators,

I purchased this vintage Coach bag from eBay a couple of weeks ago. I believe it is a convertible, it has a creed but it doesn’t have serial numbers. Could the authenticators kindly take a look And confirm it is authentic and if possible the time period of the bag. I think it may be from the 1970s Or early 1980s. Thanks!9CF2FA6D-89D6-41DF-9192-3998091C2B31.jpeg6CEEB3C1-3BAD-4220-B61A-5E75D023F3E2.jpegA6880F1A-F5D0-49DB-91F6-871B676D24FF.jpeg4E4E79A7-7FA6-4823-9703-173F0E7DC649.jpeg3C88DCC1-EF22-4BB4-ADB1-2E0A1CAD89B7.jpeg29E4E2A9-4132-435D-9019-4811B36F2C07.jpeg02FD1893-2BD4-4B8B-821A-ACDFC88DE371.jpeg

It looks like a Convertible Clutch 9635 from the middle or late '70s or very early '80s. I don't think the strap is original, it's too short and I don't remember that style having a double strap.

I hope everyone I having a wonderful day. Last night, the hubby, brought in this little beauty. I was wondering is someone could take a look at its authenticity?

Item: Vintage coach bag
Link /seller: n/a husband just handed it to me but I'm assuming it's from our local thrift store.

It appears to be a 1980s Stewardess Bag but it's really hard to get a sense of the exact shape when it's laying flat and at an angle. And please read the post at the top of each page, we need MEASUREMENTS for vintage bags if there's no listing with them included or no tape measure or ruler photographed with the bag. At least one photo of a bag being authenticated should be positioned to show the shape of the bag. Stuffing it with a towel or t-shirt often helps too.

I've taken pictures of it with a tape measure. She's a little darkened now as I've decided to clean and condition the leather. Thank you for your response.20210512_155747.jpg20210512_155736.jpg20210512_155657.jpg

I'm hoping it's authentic but I'm not an expert. The creed is hard to make out. I've checked on fb groups but no clear Answer as to authenticity. Also is a little bigger than my 2005 willis...

I take back my comment about Shopgoodwill Customer Service; they responded promptly and they provided the additional photos I requested! See attached, the bag looks genuine to me, do you agree?

@BeenBurned Thank you and you are very kind, but I've got a lot of bags that still need rehabbing and so I probably don't need another challenge! I was just attracted by the pretty blue color.

It's authentic. (I don't think this was already answered.)
