You didn't happen to read the 2 pages of posts containing the other authentication requests for that seller's items, did you? Just asking, because if you already did then I'm hoping I won't have to since the first 3 or 4 I looked at never were answered.

I had seen those pages, with lots of non-Coach requests and not many answers. I had also seen a discussion somewhere in the Coach section about more and more fakes from Japanese sellers.

I have been watching a number of bags on ebay that I need to get out from under my skin. This first one is color related only. Love the deep, dark brown. The seller added other creed photos at my request, but mentioned that the creed is very faded.

I can't even read the serial number, but something else on that inside pocket is VERY wrong. I'm sure it's fake. DELETE.

Yep, we used to consider Japanese sellers trustworthy. Not any more. And not just the newer sellers either, some of the long-established ones keep relisting obvious fakes that have already been removed at least once already.

Genuine, but NOT a Helen's legacy, it's too early. The serial indicates late 1980s (or maybe even a 1992-93 bag with an old serial number) and the Helen's Legacy wasn't introduced until 1994.

Without measurements and with all the additions I can't tell what it is. If you buy it and still need the name, please post back with measurements.

ETA - My guess would be a 9085 Duffle Sac. It's alread a heavy bag in original trim, but all those embellishments, leather AND studs, are going to add a LOT of extra weight, maybe 25 or as much as 40-50 percent more. Please keep that in mind, it looks like a back-breaker.

@Hyacinth--you are such an asset for me and all of the other vintage obsessed folks on here. I'm thinking of deleting all of my watch list and all of my saved searches for a while as I seem to lack the ability to discriminate on my own. I'm so fascinated by the embellished bucket and your comments about the weight are scaring me. I have sold or am in the process of selling all of my gorgeous Bleecker duffles from '07 because I can't carry them anymore. I think I need to enjoy what I have for a while and focus on cleaning out and maybe adding selectively. Thank you as always.
