Thank you. I am going to take this brief on a trip to visit my family this summer. This is the first time I saw a briefcase like this made in Italy. I was thinking that the Italy bags were more along the line of their bridle and dakota line. Did Coach make other classic styles in Italy too?

The late 1990s Gramercy and mid-1990s Madison lines were Italian-made, I may have mentioned them in the Guide. And some exotic leather items were made in Italy like some smaller evening-style bags and even a few early 2000s suede styles. The really expensive styles that you almost never see, in alligator and ostrich and other luxury leathers, were also made in Italy. Briefcases from Italy are unusual though, you don't see many of them. And not surprisingly, Made In Italy creeds are sometimes found in fakes. There was also a flood of fakes in the mid-2000 decade with cheap paper "Made In Italy" tags. Genuine Italian bags from 1994 or newer will have "E" plant codes, but not all E plant codes are in genuine bags.

Using the forum's Search feature for "Coach Italy" will bring up the maximum 25 pages of posts about both real and fake Italy styles and details, and that's only the first 25 pages. You can go back to older posts if you like.

Authentic taylor zip. It is missing the leather part of the zipper pull.

Just a few points

Please remember to follow the instructions at the top of each page and INCLUDE MEASUREMENTS.

There's no such thing as a 1980s Legacy Rambler. The only Rambler styles are the original 1980s-early 1990s Rambler, or the very late 1990s Rambler's Legacy.

This is neither. It looks like a very early 1990s Pocket Bag 9875. It's often confused with the newer Rambler's Legacy but it's bigger and has an older format serial number. PLEASE be sure to include all the required information when asking for authentications. We need links and measurements.

A genuine Coach would never be sold with such a lopsided creed stamp, not even at the outlets.

I didn’t buy it I left it on hold an ran to the dentist (fun!) I came back and went to look at it and couldn’t make peace with that lopsided stamp lol! I was still wondering but now I’m so glad I didn’t get it!!! Thank you!

I can't even tell which is the black one or the navy one, and there is only one set of measurements. The one with the creed photo is OK, I'm guessing that's the bigger one.

If the smaller one has a creed we need to see photos of it.
