Please follow the following requests:

• Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
• Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.

• Front of item
• Back of item
• Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
• Made in tags (when available)
• Measurements
• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
• For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
• If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

It's genuine but not vintage. It was made in 2013.

The station is authentic, the second bag is fake. I believe that number is on the fakes list. Read the creed carefully - you'll see some misspellings.

Hi everyone! I have fallen completely down the rabbit hole of vintage coach and was wondering about these two bags I've had for years. Apologies for their rough appearance, I just dug them out of the closet and am hoping to rehab them a bit.

Item: I believe it's a station bag
Where purchased: thrift store
Comments: This was the bag that got me obsessed with the style and colors of vintage coach. Size is 9" wide by 10" tall

Item: I think it's a version of the pocket purse.
Where purchased: thrift store
Comments: There are some things that are a little strange to me like the spacing in the creed and the font of the serial. Size is about 11" wide by 9" tall.

First one is authentic.

The second one (0974-534) is fake.

There can be a number of reasons for delays in replies.
*Some of us don't recommend (or authenticate listings from) certain sites or certain sellers
*sometimes there's a lag before someone who knows the item or era sees the request
*sometimes, if the pictures are difficult to see or the right pictures aren't shown, we skip requests since we can't give an accurate reply

Keep in mind that we offer this service on our own time and fit it in between our own familiies, jobs, obligations, etc. We aren't compensated in any way for volunteering!

Personally, I don't recommend Poshmark and usually don't comment on listings from the site because I don't want to give them business so I often skip requests.

And sometimes we just plain have a LOT of requests to handle! There are FIVE pages of posts just from today, and we have our own lives and responsibilities that come first, and lazy SOBs like me who spend time doing things like cooking and laundry slow things down even more. . We VOLUNTEER our time, we don't get paid for doing this, and it takes more than just a quick glance at a few photos to authenticate a Coach.

Sorry, wallets are very hard to ID or date since there aren't any serial numbers or production codes. And if it's an outlet-only item there usually aren't any searchable photo records.

It's the smaller version. I don't think I've ever seen a catalog, but I've had two of these smaller pouches.

Since you bought these online and have only had them a couple of weeks, the online links should still be viewable.

We need to see those links and seller IDs. Even when the item is in your possession, even if listing has ended, the info is needed.
