This looked fake to me but I wasn't sure;

Definitely fake. I only see 5 digits in the serial number, I think 00138, which has been used in plenty of fakes but never a genuine Coach, and is listed as Always Fake in the Daria48 Fake Coach Numbers List:

There are other problems too.

Hi all! New to the forum and curious about this bag I just bought. Thank you for all your expertise!

Item: Believe it's supposed to be a legacy zip
Where purchased: local antique mall
Comments: I'm mostly concerned about the style code not matching, and the mix of hardware. The bag is 9" by 11"

VERY Fake, sorry. Not just the wrong style code, but the strap grommets and strap buckles are 2 different colors, and the plant code "J" in the serial number is invalid when it's in ANY serial number combined with a creed saying the bag was made in the US.

Get your money back if you can. selling counterfeit merchandise is a federal offense in the US

Ahh, that's a shame. Thank you so much!

Both of these are authentic. The white part is where they shaved the leather before sewing. Early court bags didn't have adjustable straps.

Hello everyone, thank you for the creators of this thread. May I seek your help please if these four coach bags are authentic?
My wife bought these in South Korea last year. We're planning to sell it locally but we're not sure if these are really authentic thus, for your kind assistance, please.
