It's authentic and is some type of zip top wallet. (I don't know the name.)
It's a Poppy zippy wallet. I got one new around 2012 before I started paying attention to the style numbers or names.

Thank you both! It was so clean I couldn't pass it up for $5. It did have a random hamburger receipt in it from 2013, so that sounds like the perfect time frame.

Please authenticate this. I’ve already bought it knowing it’s not a Willis 9927 (as it’s listed) but thinking it was a mislabeled station bag. I may be wrong about the model, but I’ll be happy as long as it’s authenti
Item: vintage coach Willis bag - black leather with brass hardware

thanks!

This is a good example of what happens when Ebay allows sellers to use other seller's listings descriptions because the 2 listings have a few of the same keywords.

It IS a genuine Station Bag and not a Willis but the seller also used the serial number information from a Willis listing to make things even more confusing. The serial number in the seller's photos is actually 0704-405, so the bag in this listing's photos is a Station Bag made in the early 1990s, NOT in the 1980-1989 period copied from the other listing and which that seller didn't get right either since the serial in THAT listing was apparently D9P-9927 and has a 1999 serial number prefix. And what's more, the first seller claimed their bag was made in the US but the serial number they posted and that the second seller copied shows a Costa Rica plant code.

So the seller's printed listing description is basically useless and almost all wrong including the measurements, almost the only thing that matches the bag in the current listing is the color. Ebay does this a LOT and according to their terms of service it's perfectly OK for them to direct a seller to what they consider is a freely usable description that's now considered part of their "library" or "catalog" but following Ebay's suggestion in these cases leads to nothing but trouble. Not only should a seller NEVER do it, but a buyer needs to be very sure that what's being described in a listing may or may NOT be the bag that they're buying. Making sure the serial number in the listing matches the serial number in the photos is critically important. The seller has left themselves wide open for a SNAD claim too, that listing is an unholy MESS.

@Kelowna, please understand that none of this is your fault. If you want a Station Bag, that's apparently what you're getting. Combine a massively stupid policy by Ebay with overly trusting or just plain lazy sellers is a recipe for, if not actual disaster, then at least potential disappointment.

Don't believe everything you see or read in an Ebay listing. If something doesn't seem right, do exactly what you did and let us take a look.

Are you able to help me? I posted earlier on a blue coach wallet. Thank you for your time.

Didn't BeenBurned already authenticate it?

BTW, it's not necessary to post photos of every inch and seam. Please only include photos of the details listed in the READ ME instructions. If we need additional photos, we can always ask for them. If you need to refer to a previous post please either copy and paste the URL - ask for instructions if you don't know how to do that - or just include the Post Number found in the upper right corner of every post. Even better, post your follow-up question using the REPLY button of your original post so we can find it.

If you're using a phone to post, just use the post number, it's shorter and easier. And always double check to be sure you didn't miss a reply to your question.
