Comments:

The lack of ANY readable photo of the creed patch, serial number and any other tags on the inside of the bag is a VERY bad sign. I've looked at a few more of her "Coach" bags and none of them include those photos, which immediately makes me wonder what she's trying to hide.

Poshmark's GARBAGE reputation for allowing fakes to be sold on their site and using their own "authenticators" who couldn't tell real from fake if their lives depended on it are another BIG problem. The near-impossibilty of getting a refund from Posh when a purchase is discovered to be fake and CONFIRMED as fake by qualified experienced authenticators is another VERY BIG problem.

And looking at her posted comments, the seller is offering to sell off Poshmark, taking advantage of the site's features and free advertising while cheating them out of the fees she agreed to pay when she signed up to sell there. She also leaves the buyer WITH NO PROTECTION AT ALL AGAINST BEING CHEATED AND GETTING STUCK FOR THE ENTIRE PRICE IF THE BAG TURNS OUT TO BE FAKE, BECAUSE IF IT'S BOUGHT "OFF POSHMARK" THE BUYER HAS NO RECOURSE THROUGH WHAT LITTLE PROTECTION AGAINST BUYING A COUNTERFEIT THAT POSHMARK OFFERS.

No only can the bag NOT be authenticated because of the lack of any creed, tag or serial number photos, but the seller is already ready and willing to cheat Poshmark. What makes you think she won't cheat you too?
" polynnedomingo @casypuff yes it’s authentic. Price is still negotiable. I can offer better pricing off PM. Please message me at xxx-xxx-4028 if interested. Thanks"

I wouldn't touch any of polynnedomingo 's listings with a ten-foot pole. My advice is to RUN LIKE HELL.

I'm also going to ask @BeenBurned to break her usual "No Poshmark listings" to make sure I'm not over-reacting.

ETA - Just to throw the legal experts a bone, I'm reading this:

...and I'm assuming this to mean "when you use our Service, only Poshmark is entitled to the benefits of that usage". Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Hi all! Been lurking in this forum for a while and first time posting here. I saw this brand new coach madison bag in poshmark for cad300. This retails for cad495+tax. Just want to know if this is authentic before i buy it. I attached all the photos she included in her post. I asked her if this is authentic but the seller haven't replied yet. :smile:View attachment 5034411

Although I don't recommend Poshmark because the site offers poor buyer and seller protection and rarely (if ever) responds to reports of fakes, there are also too many less-than-honest sellers there who knowingly list fakes and/or violate rules because they know they can get away with it on that site.

There are several reasons I don't recommend this listing or the seller polynnedomingo.

The newer bags are highly and "well faked" so it's difficult to authenticate them. In some cases, the integrity of the seller is one of the factors I consider. If a seller isn't honest, whether it's selling fakes, or otherwise cheating buyers, other sellers or the system, that's a red flag.

In the comments, polynnedomingo makes it clear that she's willing to use poshmark to get exposure to her items but is willing and ready to cheat the site from the fees they rightly earned.

Her statement of "Price is still negotiable. I can offer better pricing off PM. Please message me at (PHONE NUMBER) if interested." is very telling and indicative of a seller one should avoid.

Not only is she stealing (fees) from Poshmark but she's also sacrificing your protection as a buyer. Going off-site, you lose some of the ways in which you can dispute a transaction that goes south.

In fact, the ebay subforum here on TPF is full of stories of people who have gone "off site" to buy or sell and have gotten scammed.

Okay cool and thanks!
I recently made two requests of an eBay seller to add a photo of Coach Creed and serial number. Crickets. Obviously they either don’t want to make a sale or there was a known problem. If they won’t add a photo after a request I won’t purchase.Another site, ThredUp rarely posts creed photos and they don’t have a way to contact the seller to add one, so again, what are they hiding?

Authentic This Bag. I hope this is the correct way to start this.
A Black Bag, researched this and is this a Mia Daisy bag? 12 1/4” (L) x 10 3/4” (H) x 4” (W), purchased at Goodwill.
The upload failed because the file could not be written to the server. The site administrator will need to resolve this before any files can be uploaded.
How do I fix this error message?

I'm sorry; there has been a problem uploading pictures the last few days. It seems to be intermittent. All I can say is try again later. Or you could try uploading them to a photo sharing site, then sharing the link.

Posters at the Feedback Dropbox forum are also reporting that the problem is back.

I love it when @Hyacinth goes full Hyacinth on us!...or is this Full Hyacinth?

In the future, please include link to actual item and seller.

I don't know if these 2 FB accounts are the same person or not but I don't recommend either!

Do NOT buy! The bag is fake, the receipt is fake, the tag is fake.

As soon as I began looking at your pictures, I suspected that the seller is in PI. My search of the seller proved it.

Over the last decade (or more), we've seen so many fakes coming from sellers in the Philippines that I don't recommend buying from ANY seller there.
Oh my God. Thank you so much for your help, Sir/Ma'am.
by the way this is the link. I failed to include it in my first post.
Thanks a lot and more power.

It's authentic. Note the upside down G. There were a bunch of bags made that month with that mistake. I believe the factory was in use between 1995-1998 at least. I haven't kept track of which styles were made there, but I've seen several classic styles, including Patricia's Legacy, Daypack, pocket purse, court, and Willis.

Hello, I went to a garage sale this past weekend and bought a huge rolling suitcase that was just full of random backpacks, duffle bags, and purses. And there happened to be this coach backpack in there. It isn't in the greatest condition; it's missing the male end of the magnetic clip that keeps it closed, the draw string is tattered. But I was wondering if anyone could authenticate it for me? (I will post all pics listed on the "format" post) but the number on the inside tag reads. No UOK-51135 (incase not legible in picture I know that in pic the writing above the number cannot be read) but i can type out what it says word for word if need be. If you could let me know if it is real I would greatly appreciate it and if you could also point me in the right direction to get genuine replacement parts for the missing magnetic clip and a new draw string I would really appreciate it thank you for your time.16167297162022409342889132795857.jpg
