Also I have a question about the name. I have looked up this style and number and I seen that over time, the style number is the same, but the name changes from originally called Zippered Clutch to become Basic Bag, & now I see the Small Slim Clutch available restored on the Coach website.

It's authentic. I believe in calling it the name it was called when it was manufactured, and I don't trust any of the revisionist names Coach uses in selling restored bags. Yours is a basic bag. The earlier version had a double leather strap.

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Please can I request a review of authentication for my latest purchase, now in-hand:

Where purchased: Vinted (UK site)
Seller ID: Katmleh
Item: “Coach - Leather Bag”
Measurements: 11 x 7 x 3” (approx). She feels larger, probably due to stretched/saggy leather. Strap length: 38” overall, 34” leather strap only
Comments: My research tells me this may be a Convertible Clutch, Style Reference 9635, pre-1994. She is missing her hangtag. Any insight into her colour also appreciated. If authethenticated she’ll join my rehab pile for some TLC.
