Item: I don't know. I know that there are sometimes little white tags in hard to find areas of the interior of the bag but I found nothing except the 'Made in India' tag.
Where purchased or how obtained: thrift store
Comments: dimensions are 7" height, 9" width, 3" depth

It's a genuine Regency Brief from the Business Collection, originally introduced in 1989 and then re-issued in 1997. This is one of the 1997 re-issues. Here's the 1989 catalog page:

It's authentic. I don't know the color name. I've seen it before.
