Please follow the following requests:

• Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
• Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.

• Front of item
• Back of item
• Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
• Made in tags (when available)
• Measurements
• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
• For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
• If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

ETA on the forum means edited to add.

The @ sign in front of someone's name is a tag. You use it when you haven't quoted someone but you want them to see it.

If you type the @ sign and then start typing in someone's forum name, the forum will show you possible members whose names start with what you have typed. You can then select one. When you do, the member you have "tagged" will get a notification that they have been tagged. If you look at your notifications, you should see that you have been tagged here. That should alert you to read this post. You would use them if you are responding to someone but realize that someone else might be interested in the information. That someone else could be someone who you've conversed with on another thread who may not usually read this one.


You don't have to type ETA when you edit your posts. We do it as an alert in case you have already read the post before we edited it.

Too bad the photos don't show the sides of the bag. But I'm pretty sure it's a Light Hobo from the Lightweight line, style 4017 and from the early 1990s. The photo details fit the catalog description.

Is this what the sides of your Light Hobo looked like? I *think* it looks like this in the catalog photo, but I am only mobile at the moment so it is hard to tell for certain.
