OMIGOSH.

I'm sorry, it's a TERRIBLE fake. Sorry to be so blunt, but there's absolutely nothing right about it.

Please read the top post in this thread, we need to know where you bought it and when, including the URL of the selling site, so we can advise you on how to get your money back if you need help.

It seems to be good but it's always hard to be sure when there's no creed or serial number available. I don't see any obvious problems.

It seems OK.

Since Poshmark has a very bad problem with not removing reported fakes and often refusing to refund when someone has bought a fake item, we don't recommend ever buying any highly faked brand from any of their sellers unless it's authenticated BEFORE buying.

That style is one of the most commonly and closely faked Coach styles from that time period and I'm just not comfortable trying to authenticate it. I'm seeing some poor stitching that bothers me especially around the top and the clip fastening above the creed patch. I would never recommend buying any highly fakes style like this especially from a Poshmark seller.

Other opinions would be appreciated.

Good morning blessed authenticators! I purchased a bag on eBay that needs TLC inside and out, and I got it for a LOW price. <<https://www.ebay.com/itm/193446633390>> is the link and the description is "Coach Handbag Womens Cream Gold D1163-F17721 Shoulder Bag GUC L4." I know GUC is good used condition, but I don't know what L4 means. Attached are pictures from the site (I haven't received it yet). There are no pictures of the back, but there is one of the bottom and of the top and lining. Description: "Inside has some water stain. Exterior needs to be cleaned. Shows some minor wear in leather / hardware. 9"x 12". Handles 9" high. Thank you so much!

The bag looks fine.

I think the coding at the end of the title (in all the seller's listings) has to do with the seller's inventory system. It probably indicates where the item is stored so she can find it once it's sold. This is a seller with nearly 15K listings so she needs a "system" to find items.

It looks authentic. I believe it is cross grain leather, which I don't care for either.

Thank you!

I’ve learned a lesson though: ALWAYS ask questions before I buy. I usually do but this time I didn’t. From now on I’ll also ask is if there’s an “F” at the front of any number on a white tag. I guess I generally prefer the really old and non-factory/outlet stuff.

It's not necessarily that it's MFF. It's the type of leather they used that you don't like.

For example, this is a bag that was made for the full priced stores but it's the same leather so you'd probably not be happy with that either.
