Hi. Can someone help authenticate this? View attachment 4872813View attachment 4872814View attachment 4872815I found this bag but I'm not sure what style this is. It looks like a city bag or compartment bag? It's Navy Blue, but I can't read the serial number. This is the link:

It's FAKE.

I can read most of the serial number with no problem since it's been on the Daria48 Fake Coach Numbers list for at least 8 or 10 years - 0444-315 or -316 with a bunch of fake "overstamping" lines above and below every number. But I guess at least 35 other Posh members including a "Posh Ambassador" never bothered to look up the list, which is sad. And no one apparently bothered to actually look closely at the creed - look at the word that's SUPPOSED to be "scrAtches" and tell me what you see.

Or they could have just Googled the numbers:

Both numbers are mentioned in many of the links above, as well as photos of many completely different styles, all with EXACTLY the same serial numbers, which is a HUGE red flag. And some poor soul will end up wasting their hard-earned money on that fake because not only does Poshmark not make any real effort to find and remove fakes, but when someone is unfortunate enough to buy one, it's very hard to even get your money back.

ALWAYS have any Coach items at Posh authenticated BEFORE you buy.

ETA - from the first part of the Daria48 Fake Numbers List, posted right here at tPF in the same thread as the Salearea Coach Guides:

Under "Always Fake"
" 0444-317, 0444-316 AND 0444-315 and possibly others beginning with 0444 - some "classic" fakes are showing up with these numbers and have a number of mistakes in the creed stamps and on the bags themselves. Assume they're all fake. "
Don't forget to include the seller's ID: xgirl

And don't buy from her, especially without checking to verify authenticity. She has other fakes too, many of which were sold to unknowing buyers:

Do not buy from xgirl.
Well isn't this interesting! (NOT!!)

xgirl on Poshmark was found to have listed and sold MANY fakes and in the listing in question, a user by the name of "hyacinth_b " kindly informed xgirl that her item was fake. Not only did the seller NOT end her listing but she had hyacinth_b 's comment removed.

This is the listing of the fake Coach bag from which the post letting the seller know was removed.

DO NOT BUY FROM xgirl!

This bag is fake.

And if you have another with a similar creed, you should have it checked. You refer to the "same J factory" but this bag (even if authentic) wasn't made in the J plant.
True, it couldn't have been made in the J plant if it's a fake. Lol. The font on mine is different; that's why I thought this red one was a fake. Thank you for verifying my suspicions. It looks like a nice fake, haha, but still a fake. Thanks, as always, for your expertise!

The fake was masquerading as the H plant, not the J plant. The J was the month code.

Hello! Would you please take a look at this estate sale one?

Item: Rambler
Seller: estate sale
Comments: got some extra poorly made strap holes for free ;)

Seems OK, or will be after a bath and rehab. Middle 1980s.

The Forum gods control the pictures, and they like to mess things up whenever possible. Once you post them, the situation is completely out of your hands.
