But does the State of New York, for instance, collect sales tax on what's sold at legitimate sample sales? With as many sample sales as there are every year in the NYC area (and I'm sure most of us have seen the ads for them in various publications and "insider shopping" websites), I find it hard to imagine that the state isn't going to take their cut, and the company's records need to show that state sales taxes have been collected from the buyer and paid to the state.
Yes, of course. So, the receipt will show the $$$ amount (which is enough for the state) and maybe “bag, small” or “bag, leather”. Often the sales are run by the outside companies who provide their people and logistics, so you wouldn’t see Coach anywhere on the receipt, just the name of the company that did the sale.

Not only is the bag genuine, but so is all the paperwork. It's a Convertible Clutch, style 9635 and the style number is on the price tag. It dates from possibly the very late 1970s to around 1987 although from the price I'd say it was made around 1984-85. It has the shorter 36-inch strap so I doubt if most buyers could comfortably wear it crossbody.
Whoop Whoop! Thanks Hyacinth!!

:flowers: Hi, looking to authenticate this Janice. I am out and can provide measurements later if needed. I know, it was a real Hail Mary purchase.

It's fine. I wonder why the seller couldn't read the creed.

Can you please authenticate this coach Brighton bag? I’ve had it for many years. It’s in excellent condition with minimal wear. Are you able to estimate it’s worth? Thanks in advance for any information you can provide me.

This bag was authenticated earlier today.

Hey Everybody! I got this at a yard sale, can someone please tell me if it is authentic, and if so what it is? Measurements are about 9.5" wide, 6" tall, and about 1.75" deep. There's a branded snap keyloop (I guess that's what you'd call it?) inside and "Coach" is only stamped on one side of the hangtag. Thank you!

I don't have this style in my files but it appears authentic. It's a cosmetic case or shaving kit made in 2002.

It's fine. I wonder why the seller couldn't read the creed.
It is a special breed like us that will persist in getting to that Creed. It’s an art to us  I guess it doesn’t occur to stick an old school flashlight in there. Also, she might be older. Or developing cataracts, like me!
Thanks, ever since I passed on your GW Janice, I’ve had my eye out for one with top stitching.
The only other pic of an ‘06 I could find here was MFF in a different plant.
ETA, TYVM!

Hello!

I was wondering if this bag was authentic!

Hi All,

I’ve just acquired this Manor from a thrift store offline.

The colour looks to me like oxblood type. Could be sort of dark brown

certainly need to repair this bag if it is authentic
