I need help identifying these two, please. Thank you so much for your time and help, and please let me know if I can clarify any information, photos, extra photos, etc. These are my moms that she received as gifts from her boss for birthday/tenure.

I added the IMGUR link as it’s much easier to upload so many photos for 2 purses at the same time that way. Please let me know if I must post them here instead.

The first seems to be 14” long, by 10” high and is not structured enough for a width. It’s relatively “flimsy” (likely not the correct term).

The second is is about 12” x 8” x 4” (width at the BOTTOM, since there is a strap cinching the middle to top).

Thank you again!!

Hi Authenticator/s, should I be concerned about this bag’s authenticity? Noted is the missing hyphen in its serial number. THANKS!!

teddybear222

Missing hyphens are NOT a problem in pre-China bags. It's genuine and made in 1996

One more question about the basic bag for my own knowledge, the basic bag with the glue in label in the photo would have been from the 70's? I've read the "guides" but it seems that the info can be misleading.

Dates for early bags and creeds still aren't exact but the glue-ins seem to be from the later 1970s to the very early 1980s.

Please authenticate
I purchased this (Lexy) on FB and never used it. It was sold as real. It only weighs 1.3 lbs and the leather doesn’t feel real And yet it doesn’t feel like plastic either no rips or tears and the hardware has not tarnished I’ve had for about a year. I can’t smell it the perfume is too strong.
it measures about 13” wide by 11” high by 4.5” deep.

I don't see any problems with the bag. I think it's fine.

I've come across bags with glued in serial numbers that came with catalogs from 1983 so I know it was used up until then. I disagree with some of the guides that believe the glued in serial numbers were the first bags to use numbers. I believe the particular creed they used for those came a little later, as they added the registered trademark symbol to it, which wasn't used in bags with creeds but no serial numbers. It's possible that production increased so much that it was easier stamping a bunch of creeds at once and then gluing the serial number once the bag was made.

Hi again! The Poshmark seller for the second bag posted some photos taken outside. I understand color is really hard to tell from photos. If anyone has the inclination, I would appreciate your opinions on how dark you think the color truly is. I am looking for a lighter brown, any of the variations of that would be fine (British Tan, Tabac, Putty, others?). Thanks in advance!

I still really can't tell. It could be tabac. It doesn't look BT or putty.

Hello Authenticators,
Could you please authenticate this eBay purchase, if authentic what is the name of style? Thanks.

Thanks, Whateve, I know you've posted about that before but I keep forgetting to check my notes.
