I can't believe I just did this. May I please request an authentication of this Pony Express I just bought on ebay before I pay.

Seller: tablerockmastiff
Item: https://www.ebay.com/itm/154054002397

I hope it rehabs nicely, I'm planning to sell my mocha Pony to pay for this one. @whateve, if you see this what are your thoughts on rehabbing this bag? I know I should have asked a long time ago but I wasn't planning on buying the bag. I don't know what got into me this morning.
It is authentic. I imagine a normal rehab would be fine but I'd probably address those stains first. They might be grease. I haven't had the best of luck with grease. Possibly you could try the technique of cleaning with CPR.

Genuine, from the early or mid 1980s.

There's no Whiskey Brown color listed from anywhere near that time period, it just looks like a darkish or darkened British Tan. Color shades changed over the years, there was a recent post in I think the Vintage Chat thread where a member posted examples of her red vintage bags and all the reds are slightly different.

The only Whiskey color name I can remember was on the special Legacy leathers made in and around 2006 for Coach's 65th Anniversary.

Thank you beenburned!

Dearest Knowledgeable Ones,

As promised, here are the images of my latest find, please can you find a few moments to review and consider authenticity:

Name: Coach Legacy/Vintage Green Leather Handbag (I believe this to be a Sonoma in Nubuc)
Purchased From: Depop UK On 16th August 2020
Seller: Closlow
Measurements: 31 x 21 x 15 cms with a strap drop of 50 cms.
Comments: Having read the guides (thank you @Hyacinth for your wisdom), I am not overly concerned about the stamping on the creed, however I would like to know a) is it authentic, b) Year of Manufacture (1994, 2004 Possibly?), c) Her full title and sight of any associated catalogue images. She is beautifully butter-soft, and in beautiful condition as well as being very heavy, so my instinct leads me to believe she is genuine. I was also watching a similar bag on eBay from Seller: Rolgac-31 (UK based), which appears to be the same bag which sold on 1st August 2020.

Apologies again for the order and orientation of the images, my iPad seems to have a mind of it’s own when posting onto this Forum.

As ever, many thanks for your time and wisdom. Stay safe.

Zoe x

It's a genuine Sonoma Large Flap Nubuc made in 1994, the color was called Spruce.
