It is a dinky, one of the earlier ones with the strap eyelets on the sides rather than an attached strap. It is authentic. Late 70s.

The Carlyle is genuine.

I just want to be sure that the strap hasn't been cut down since it's not shown at its full length in the photos. Approximately what does it measure end to end when on the longest setting? Coach gives the length as 44 inches but having a buckle adjustment can confuse the measurements a bit.

Genuine, I think it's style 4050, Shoulder Bag from the late 1980s and part of the Lightweight line, which is why it's a bit lighter and thinner than the "classic" Coaches.

With vintage Coach bags where the serial number is all numbers, please be sure to include measurements if they're not in the original listing. Thanks!

Genuine, I think it's an early 1990s City Bag
