Thank you! Did it ever come in red? I have seen black and green with Tabac trim, camel and navy with white trim but I have not seen red with white before. Does a genuine version exist in red?

Yes, it wasn't part of the earlier Spectator lines from aroiund 1990, it's from the early 2000s and was only available on the Court Bags, in navy, tan or red with white trim. The ones with Tabac trim were the earlier versions from 10 years before. At least I THINK the Court was avaialble in Spectator trim back then but I don't have any catalog pics of it.

I used to have a black court with Tabac trim.

LOL! I do carry a magnifying glass (and a tape measure) in my purse all the time! You can't imagine how useful both items have been both to me and to other shoppers who may need my "tools."

I hear ya! I have several magnifier pendants on long chains that are perfect for a lot of things, not just thrifting and local garage sales but even at the grocery store or drugstore. Some of those small grocery items and OTC medications have such teeny-tiny printing on the bottle or the box that you almost need a bleedin' microscope to read them. The pendants also work great as jewelry. And my spare set of house keys also includes a tiny USB-rechargeable flashlight.

Comment: I am not comfortable with the shape of the o in No. Is this normal for this style?
Look how squished the "Coach" name is and how close the 0 (year) is to the M.

I'm sure it's fake.

Can you request a picture of the back of the female side of the turnlock to clinch it?
Then I don't need to post pics. But I'll do the creed pics anyway just in case anyone wants them.

ASSUME ALL THESE "*0M-" SERIAL PREFIXES ARE FAKES

The barely-visible end of the strap that goes through the buckle on the fake looks like it's square, not round. Here's a real one:

And another fake:

The more you look, the more little problems you find.
Wow. Without pics of the Creed or back of the flap turn lock, it would be really easy for this to pass as legit. Just another example of a dicey buy without these detail and coming here!

Congrats on your rehab pile! I can't help but wonder if there is always one turkey in a lot like that!
Sniff. Big ole pile of vintage leather gets me emotional. I'm pretty sure an angel got its wings LOL.

For sure. I've never seen one of those Court Bag Spectators faked before, but there are so many small details that just look wrong. The one that really stood out for me was the Coach logo above the creed. Coach may sometimes get sloppy with serial numbers and even creed stitching, but it's almost unheard of for them to screw up the font used for their logo on a creed stamp. There are just some things they hold sacred and that's one of them. The logos may show wear and tear of the stamp itself, but those fonts in the logo are one of their registered trademarks and they take them very seriously.

Thanks. 2 bags in the lot are in very rough shape, the black Station and the tan Casey. The flaws were not disclosed nor shown in photos. This is the description of listing, "Condition is pre-owned and for the most part amazing. A few of the bags look close to new while others show signs of scratches and wear. Overall though they look so good, and they have clean insides (a few are a tiny bit dirty but easily cleanable)."
The actually bags, all are dirty and dry inside out, 3 looks will rehab well, 2 are extensive rehab projects. 1 may or may not rehab successfully.
I will give the seller a pass though, it seems she is a main stream antique seller, just occasionally handbags. So the description was off due to lack of knowledge. ( Had she disclosed the damage of bag's, I would had less competition in bidding).. but all are genuine, the Courier was the one I am after and it's in good shape. Also glad the Basic has glued registration number, (it is my first).
Hope the stains on Court handle is not mold.
Now my rehab pile really piled up, should keep me busy for a while.
