1 and 2 are fake. 3 and 4 are authentic.
Could you let me know why 2 is fake? I am getting pushback from the seller when I'm returning. I also see that it says "CHINA" and "SOLID BRASS" on the brass which I know really proves the fact that it's fake, but I just was wondering if there are some resources I can put in the claim to prove that fact

Just to refresh, this is the link to the listing

And the "CHINA" on the brass

It also says "SOLID BRASS"

K3H prefix is always fake. The H plant in the US was shut down in the 90s. You already know about the solid brass. I don't know what resources you could use other than the forum.
@orangekitty121

Do you think it would help to refer cheyanimall here?

It's bad enough that she sold a fake but to give you a hard time about returning it is wrong!

She sells a good amount of Coach. Maybe she could learn a bit here.

I don't do newer bags, so please wait for one of the other authenticators to take a close look at it. And please include a link to the listing as required in the posted instructions at the top of each page.

Please provide the seller's name and a link to the listing. You're right, it's fake. The number is a known fake number. There are misspelled words in the creed.
Hi There! I am Susan B from Bougainvillea Gallery and I am glad to find out sooner than later that I might of been passing off a fake. And I am glad to learn more on how to authenticate Grandma Lil's purses. I am bummed that that red purse was not authentic. She said she bought all her bags in NYC where she lived and worked, and they were authentic, but I guess even in the 70s and 80s and 90s buyers could get fooled, or maybe someone gave it to her as gift and they all believed it was authentic back in the day before the internet helped with this kind of exposure. Going forward, How do I best authenticate and price the purses I have acquired from her? Thanks so much!
