Last, funny, note. I actually found cash in all four of these bags. Assuming I carried each of them at some time in the past.

Now for the bad news. It looks like there might be indentations on the back of the turnlock. But the serial number font definitely isn't right for the D plant. Sorry.

Hyacinth, I can't thank you enough for all of these authentications. Three out of four are real Coach! Can you imagine how lucky I got with this?? You're the best!

Looks like a Dinky.

Hi
Could you please take a look at this Courier bag

The buyer has stated it's a fake and started a return.

Thank you for your time.

It's NOT a fake! Why does she think it is? I can't see a thing wrong with it. Even the age and name and style number are absolutely correct! It's a really nice bag and a great color.

ETA - the only thing I'm not sure about is if it was actually made during Cashin's time at Coach, but I'm pretty sure it was originally designed by her. But I'll leave that detail to the Cashin experts.

I'm sorry this happened to you. I think there is a good chance Bonnie Cashin was still at Coach when this was made. The bad news is that you can't fight the return because ebay always sides with the buyer. You can try to convince her it is authentic, and direct her here or to the ebay fashion board, but I just tried that with a buyer and didn't even get a response. If she doesn't see reason, you should accept the return before the day ebay is allowed to step in.

Thank you so much for your help. I will ask the buyer to stop by.Thanks again for the knowledge you share

Although you didn't answer Hyacinth's question about why the buyer thinks the bag is fake, I'll venture a guess.

I bet she doesn't know about pre-creed bags and without a creed or serial number, she's assuming (possibly from having read someone's online guide) that it's fake.

I hope the buyer stops by and is reasonable. (And if she doesn't, please either PM or post the ID so I can block.)

What amazes and saddens me is that you have a 30 day return policy so she really didn't have to conjure up a reason to return it unless she just didn't want to pay return shipping.

Sorry for my late response. In the buyers case notes she just wrote she knows the bag isn't authentic and wants to return the bag. I agree with not wanting to pay to return. I just realized due to Covid19 Ebay is allowing an additional 21 days from when the label is printed to return. I feel this will be dragging on. The buyer also mentioned she's not " comfortable " leaving the house and is sheltering in place and i'll get the bag "soon" I just hope she didn't use the bag.
