I'm still trying to figure out what it is.

The measurements are right for a Convertible Clutch except for the depth, which according to the seller's measurements (5 inches) is twice as deep as what Coach lists (2 1/2 inches). Also the strap is NOT original, it's either been replaced by a cheaper non-Coach strap or by a much shorter one from a much newer bag, or it's been shortened and riveted.

It may be a Coach but it's not in original condition, and the measurements need to be verified.

Thanks - I was wondering about that strap, too. Think I'll pass.

Hello Everyone

Uh-oh, another bag that I like :-)
Could someone please authenticate?

(On the creed: is that a star over the E or just a mark?)

Item: Vintage Coach Soft Black Leather Shoulder Bag #E5A-4914 -12"L- 21"or less drop
Listing #: 351374339696
Seller: 7nester7

Thanks as always!

The scrape over the E isn't from Coach. The bag looks like a Sonoma Double Zip Natural Grain, one of the very few with the old NYC A-plant code.

I was going to ask about this too. Do you see what he means about the double handles needing stitching? I couldn't really tell.

When you enlarge the third and the last photos, the back of the rear handle on the right side looks like it's worked loose, or maybe the strap padding has actually shifted.

It looks like a 4227 Wilmington Satchel.

Hmm. I don't have any of this style - can they be dunked? And is it authentic - I may have missed that post. Thanks!

If something is fake or questionable I'll say so right up front. Wait for Whateve to advise about dunking, all I've ever had to do with my Sheridans is turn the linings inside out to wash them.

Thanks - I should have figured you would have mentioned if it was fake first thing. Hope that maramd doens't mind that I took a chance on it! :shame:

Hi ladies! This Koi fish fob was listed for sale in our buy/sell group on Facebook, and none of us know enough about it to know if it's real. Can you take a look? These are all the photos I have:

ETA: the clasp doesn't seem original and doesn't look like others we see for sale on eBay.

Figuring out keychains got a lot more complicated when Coach started remaking older styles with minor changes for the outlets, and especially when they made so many styles for other markets that were never available in the US.

The details of the Koi part of the charm are right, but either it's a remake for the outlets or the owner changed the chain and keyring to a charm clip. Two of the original 3 links have been removed(the ends weren't soldered on that style) and a cheap round ring and the clip added.

And it's hard to see exactly what color the base metal is, it almost looks like brass the photos or maybe it's picking up color from the lighting or background, the original keyfob was silver. The charm itself looks authentic but I don't think the rest of it is.
