This isn't an authentication request, but I guess it kind of is? I am wondering why this color of tea rose dinky has the indentations and hardware on the inside of the flap and other tea rose dinky bags do not? I looked at several listings of this color and they all seemed to have them--but other colors don't.

I can't authenticate newer styles but I'd say it is because this style is different. It has extra hardware, slits plus rings that the others don't. The others have a lined flap that hides the rivet backs, but they couldn't do that with the rings since they stick out so much.

I was wondering that too. I am guessing they only did this on a minimal amount of bags and then switched to the other method to reduce problems on the inside of the bag where the hardware presses into the leather, etc.

Several comments:
1. Extreme caution should be exercised with the 1941 collection bags because they're extremely closely faked
2. It's good that this isn't an authenticity request because the pictures in the listing aren't adequate for authentication purposes. There isn't even a creed photo.
3. From my very limited search, it appears that 10513 is only available in goldenrod
4. If #3 above is accurate, I need to repeat something we've said countless times: When making comparisons, you MUST compare apples to apples. By apples to apples, I mean style number must be identical and year/plant need to be the same.

For the bag in question (seller kflo8472 ) I have no comment on authenticity though I will say that her UPC code on her tag is different from others I looked at for the same color and style number.

Thanks! The hardware on the back of the flap on this bag pretty much changed my mind about it, but the additional info is helpful.
