The bag is fake. Open a dispute to return it and let Mercari know that you received a fake.

And if Mercari wants to know WHY it's fake, it's a very long list. There's absolutely nothing right about that bag.

Just for starters:
Fake style, fake non-Coach hardware with a fake stamp Coach never uses, wrong turnlock padding shape, fake zipper pull that should never say "Coach", inside zipper is too short, totally fake creed stamp, "coachbag" as a single word is never used by Coach, creed spacing is all wrong, Strap buckle hardware is wrong, shape of the tabs holding the strap on is wrong, and most important, the serial number is too short and invalid, missing the "No" in front of it, and if you had searched these tPF forums or even Google for "coach Korea" or "Coach made in Korea" you would have found hundreds of posts saying any "COACH" handbag that says Made In Korea is always fake. Like I said, there's nothing right about it.
ETA - and the punctuation used in the creed is wrong, there are 2 periods missing.

Please authenticate all Coach purchases here BEFORE buying, or search the forums here. Just one look at the first photo in the listing would have told us everything we needed to know, and the Made in Korea stamp on the creed would have clinched it.

I suggest you also click the "Report" button on the listing and give POSHCULT appropriate feedback for this bag that she claims is "From my personal vintage coach collection."

I believe it's a 7003 Gramercy small satchel. The measurement provided by seller is 10” wide, 6” tall (not including handles), and 3” depth. The bag is missing the long strap but I'll borrow the strap from another black bag.

The creed picture isn't adequate for authenticating. I can't see the number.

I have one of these that didn't come with a strap either. Even though I have other straps I can use, I like the way it looks handheld.

There are lots of colorloss that's not shown in the listing. Otherwise, the bag seems in pretty good shape. I was inspired by the Gramercy zip rehab by you and @katev. It would be a shame not to save this beauty!

I don't think it was part of the 65th Anniversary Legacy Striped collection but I was wondering if it might have been part of the later Legacy Stripe Poppy Collection? I would greatly appreciate your insights, thank you in advance!

I have a similar looking strap from a Crossgrain leather bag, sadly just checked and the hardware doesn't match, guess it won't both me too much... I do have a court bag strap that will work and the hardware matches. I dont mind if it looks different as long as it's the same color.

I usually prefer to wear my bags hands free, especially travelling to and from work. Not sure if I'll wear this bag to work though, might be too fancy. I also like the idea from @whateve for hand carry, maybe to dinner when we can do that again. It can be a celebration bag for our first dinner out!

I had one of these. It's 41829 Legacy Leather mini skinny. It matches the Garcia collection.
