Seller stylingfactory

The bag is fake.

Let's see if stylingfactory is an honest seller and if she ends her listing.

OMG! it's still listed. 80$ I hope nobody purchases this! It is ug-ge-ly!

I reported (as soon as I saw the POS but in true Poshmark fashion, they close their eyes to reports so the report won't be removed by PM.

And AFAIK, the only way to communicate with sellers is through a message on the listing. It doesn't look like the seller was made aware of the bag being fake.

Or if someone DID notify Posh seller " stylingfactory ", the post was removed. Let's see if I have better luck. Not likely, but worth a try. 2:37 PM and counting ...

There are several things that shouldn't be on that bag and at least two things that are completely wrong, but Coach never even made a style that matches it. Even the stitching and fine detailing are poor quality compared to a genuine Coach.

Well, everyone. The verdict is in.

Of course Poshmark didn't remove stylingfactory's listing but I didn't expect them to do it.

My occasional comments state that while there may be honest and honorable sellers on Poshmark who make honest mistakes, most don't GAS. The honest sellers will end listings when informed that they've erred.

And case in point is stylingfactory on Poshmark. About 9 hours ago, the seller WAS made aware that the bag is fake, was given a link to the posts here at tpF and advised to come and ask questions if she had any. Not only did STYLINGFACTORY not end her listing but she removed (or got removed) the expert advice in the post by @hyacinth_b.

This further cements my conviction that Poshmark and its sellers are NOT RECOMMENDED.
Unfortunately, I can't even recommend the honest ones unless they sell on a more proactive and safe website.

Your comment is gone now, too.

Yep, now we know what kind of seller we're dealing with. Too bad some people don't give a flying feck about cheating other people. AND POSHMARK JUST CLOSES THEIR COLLECTIVE EYES AND LET'S THEM GET AWAY WITH RIPPING MEMBERS OFF EVEN AFTER BEING TOLD MORE THAN ONCE THAT SOMETHING'S FAKE.

DO NOT BUY FROM POSHMARK SELLER " stylingfactory ". AND THINK SERIOUSLY IF ANYONE SHOULD BUY OR SELL FROM ANY SITE THAT KNOWINGLY ALLOWS THE SELLING OF COUNTERFEIT ITEMS AGAINST NOT ONLY THE SITE'S POSTED RULES BUT ALSO AGAINST U.S. FEDERAL ANTI-COUNTERFEITING LAWS.

All are authentic. These were called Rambler's Legacy, not Rambler, which was a different style.
1. 1998, Costa Rica, this one is vintage
2. 2014, China, the leather is likely not the same quality as vintage
3. 2000, probably British tan, will be vintage in a few months
Darn, I missed out on the first one. Question about the 3rd one, do you think this leather has the same quality as vintage? Are there certain years (e.g., before 2000) or certain places (e.g., Costa Rica vs NYC vs USA) that have better quality leather? Thanks again!

2000 leather is fine. I've had bags with really nice leather up through 2003. Most places other than China have better leather but I've seen good leather from China up through the early 2000s. There are no Rambler's Legacy made in NYC as the style didn't come out until 1998. My 1999 made in the US C factory Rambler's Legacy has amazing leather. It was made in the same factory as the 3rd one but nearly a year earlier.
