i am new to this site and I’ve looked but I haven’t found anything related to this purse. I bought a bag small white coach pochette type purse. The dimensions are 7in x 5.5in x 3 in. The bag has the coach logo written in different fonts in different colors. It has no tag inside , so I doubt the authenticity of the purse . Regardless if it’s a fake or not I think the purse is really cute. I hope y’all can help me.

It's an authentic top handle pouch though I can't recall the name of the style. (Some of Coach's smaller items may or may not have creeds and those with creeds may or may not have serial numbers. This item is one with neither.)

The collection may have been called Graffiti (beach print?) and is similar to this one, style 42620 but yours is a slightly different style and would have a different style number.

There were quite a few items in that line but they were almost all smaller bags and accessories and mostly found at the outlets, the shelves were full of them. I think I still have this cosmetic case. The style name for this one was 42623, Hamptons Grafitti Beach Cosmetic Case and maybe from around 2008 or 2009, so BeenBurned has the line's name right.

While Coach added the "coded" serial numbers in 1994 that included the year codes and style numbers, they DIDN'T immediately update the words of the creed in every plant at the same time. The C plant, this one, didn't get the creed stamp with the new wording until some time in 1995. A few other plants got theirs even later. This is mentioned in the Salearea Guides posted here at tPF, the one on Creed stamps in particular:
"Starting in 1994, the creed and serial number formats went through a major change. The country of manufacture was now stated in the second sentence of the creed, although the change was stretched out over about 18 months so some older or smaller plants would still be using the old format with the plant location at the bottom of the creed statement until some time in 1996..."

You should read the Guides if you haven't done so already.

You can ONLY compare details of serial numbers and creed stamps with another bag made in exactly the same plant, month and year and with exactly the same style number. And of course, only if you're absolutely sure that the bag you're using for comparison is genuine.

The important thing is that the details and especially the fonts used in the stampings are exactly what they should be for that plant, month, year and style. And in this one, they are, it's a genuine Court Bag from 1995 made in the C plant, and other March 1995 C plant bags with the same 3-digit serial number prefix C5C- and the same style number 9870 would probably have the same creed wording. There can be exceptions but this isn't one of them.

BTW, if a listing that you're asking about is still active and "clickable" there's no need to re-post all the photos. If for some reason we can't see the photos or if they're from a site like Mercari that causes problems with some browsers or apps, or are posted on a Private site that only allows registered members to see them, we can always ask you to download and post them. But it they're visible to the public there's no need to spend your time copying them just to re-post.

Thank you so much for the incredibly informative and helpful response! :-)

Hello authenticators, can I trouble you to take a look at these 2 bags listed on eBay Australia please? We don't get much variety on vintage coach listed locally here, so these ones are practically exotic by our standards!

Thanks in advance.

Both are authentic.

It's authentic. It's probably a Rambler 9735, if it measures about 12 x 9 x 4.5 inches. Remember to provide measurements if you would like an ID. It was probably made in the 80s. It is common for the inside zipper pulls to lose whatever coating they had on them and look silver or gray.
It actually measures appx 7" H x 11" w 4.5" deep..unless I measured wrong...this is from seam to seam.

Hello Authenticators! Sorry for going MIA for a little bit but I'm back with a better picture of the creed. I finally received the purse in person and today begins my 3 day inspection before my $185 payment gets released to the seller.

Item: Mini Sage Carryall

Honestly, holding this purse in my hand, it feels of an authentic purse. The hardware has some heft to it and the purse just looks good at first glance. Really the only, ONLY, concern I have is some of the stitching is weird in some places.

1) The stitching is kind of weird and "bulky" in some places. Please refer to "IMG_1326" and "IMG_1328"
2) The stitching is uneven in some parts. Please refer to "IMG_1329". Now the stitches are really hard to see but if you just look at the hole spacing between the stitches, it's uneven.

I know that I have annoyed this thread plenty about this one purse but I really would like to know if I should return this purse or keep it. I appreciate all the help from all the kind authenticators who have helped me thus far.

ETA: I just spotted a couple of stitches that are "fraying" which is weird because this is a new purse

Comments: Purchased online and noted that the turnlock was loose upon receipt--with no access to the back as it's sandwiched between 2 pieces of leather. Since some posters suggested it may be fake because of this, I'm posting here. Apologies for the less than stellar pics. Too cold outside to take pics, so settled for camera flash in my bathroom.
