Please post authenticity questions related to COACH in this thread. No PMs please.
For further information, please refer to the first post on page 1 of this thread.

Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:
  • FOR ITEMS LISTED ONLINE:

  • FOR ITEMS NOT LISTED ONLINE:

    Where purchased or how obtained

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item
  • Back of item
  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

And this is precisely part of the reason why I'm so adamant about recommending against Poshmark and why I (usually) refuse to comment on authenticity request when listings are posted there.

I've even said that there are honest sellers of authentic items but because of Poshmark's way of doing business, I find the site to be a turnoff and dangerous!

Not only does PM rarely (in my experience) respond to reports of fakes nor do they remove them, they also refuse to respond (appropriately) to buyer disputes after those buyers have received fakes. And even when evidence of the multiple reasons items are fake are submitted, their "experts" aren't knowledgeable enough to understand why items are fake.

(Oh, and many of their "poshmark ambassadors" list fakes! Knowingly or not, those members who are supposed to have a reputation for honesty and integrity often have neither.)

And to compound their incompetence, they also ban and/or suspend honest members, either members who try to help with authentications prior to sales and purchases and they ban and suspend honest sellers with authentic items because again, they don't know the difference!

All your items are authentic and perhaps if Poshmark's admin would be directed here, they might consider getting some REAL experts on their staff.

I'm sorry for my rant but this has gone on for too long and happens too frequently.

I want to thank BeenBurned and whateve, for confirming my items are authentic. Thanks to the great members of this site, I never tried to sell anything fake, and I was saved from buying fakes.
I can now appeal my 3 cases with Poshmark, that BTW have reinstated my account, and I hope after the appeals, the listings as well.
Although in their message they said that after "all these violations", next time one of my items is reported I will be permanently kicked out. Nice...

They're not "violations," you listed authentic items!! Geesh! THEY violated YOUR integrity by erroneously removing your authentic items!

Just one more reason to avoid Poshmark, as if we needed one.

You are (and everyone else that feels this way about PM) totally right, is not worth the hassle to deal with lunatic people and clueless staff, for the couple dollars that I try to make selling some of my no longer used items. I am not one of those sellers like some members here, that is like a part time of full time business. I am ready to send them packing, but not yet.... I am going to wait to see if they relist my items and apologize, if not I am going to the Better Business Bureau to file a complain, and when all is settled and done, I will say thanks and now you know where you can put your site, I will close the account MYSELF.
