Could someone please authenticate this listing:

Item: I think it is a Shoulder Sac although the seller has it listed as a Helen’s Legacy duffle?
Seller: HudsonReclaimed
Link: https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/756...er-helens-legacy?ref=shop_home_active_2&cns=1

Thank you in advance!

There are at least 2 reasons it can't be a Helen's Legacy. The Helen's is like a smaller version of the classic Duffle Sac, it has a ROUND base. This one is oval. The Helen's also wasn't introduced until Autumn of 1994 and would have had the "new" style serial number with the actual style number and a number-and-letter combination for the serial number prefix. It's definitely a genuine 9730 Shoulder Sac made between 1990 and 1993.

Hey,
My mom's employers recently gave her a bunch of coach bags, I assume they're authentic but I want to be sure. I was going to keep some and sell some and I just want to be know what style they are and if they're real. The ones I want to keep have creeds that seem legit to me, as per my googling, however the ones I want to sell don't seem to have creeds but I'm told not all of them need to have one to be authentic. They have the ykk zipper, and a Coach tag which I can't figure out if it's fake or real. I also cannot for the life of me figure out the style. The closest style I've found would be the 'cosby carryall' . Anyway if someone could help me out that would be great. Feel free to ask for more pictures, whatever helps.

Item: Coach Limited Edition Leigh Legacy Natural Camel Color Handbag 11128
Listing number: 283628668672
Seller: bdl613

Comments: You can see a faint "ES" or "FS" stamp on the creed patch. The Seller states it's an "ES" and she purchased the bag at a Coach retail store in the early-to-mid-1990s. While I believe the bag to be authentic, I'm looking more for clarification from you of the date of manufacture, and whether the Leigh was really a 65th anniversary bag. Thanks again!

There's absolutely no way she could have bought it in the 1990s either. The date code is for August of 2007, and the Legacy Stripe lining wasn't introduced until 2006 for the 65th Anniversary styles. Technically that one was made 8 months after the end of the anniversary year, shortly after the style was introduced, so probably wouldn't be one of the "official" 65th Anniversary styles. The catalog from mid-2007 that it was introduced in doesn't make any mention of the anniversary.

Did she tell you privately that she bought the bag in the 1990s? It's not mentioned in the listing. I think she's a bit confused.

The bag is authentic and I believe it shows an FS (final sale) stamp.

Thank you!

Yes ma'am, because of the ES or FS stamp, I asked about the history of the sale. That's when she told me in a private message she purchased it in the early-to-mid 90s. I thank you for your confirmation & I agree she's not remembering clearly (I get that!).

Zipper brand doesn't mean a thing. No need to take pictures of that. What I would like to see is the "made in" tag that is sewn into the lining. Also, I would like measurements of these bags.

Please refer to the first post on the first page of the thread. There's missing information and an important missing picture.
I apologize, I don’t know what information is missing. I read the first post before posting, and again just now and I think I’ve posted the information requested. Could you tell me what I’m missing? This is my bag, in my possession so I can’t include a link.
I thought I included this photo, but I see now I missed it. 88FCC623-C761-48BD-A38B-D13FA164353F.jpeg

Yes, that picture is what I referred to. The bag looks fine.

We also like to know the source of the item. If purchased from an online venue, we request seller ID, link to listing and listing number. But when items may have been gifts, purchased from thrifts, yard sales or items owned forever, we just want to be informed.

Thank you, I don’t know how I missed that; I will make sure to include that in any future posts and I will also make sure to read thoroughly so I don’t miss anything in the future. I appreciate you taking the time to explain to me what I missed! And thank you for looking at the bag as well
