It's a genuine Roll Bag, style 9887 from the early 1990s.

ask about color (especially in the mocha / taupe / putty / tan / brown area) but I wonder if anyone thinks mocha is an accurate call for this bag. (I do but that matters for nothing!)

It's authentic. I think it is pretty bad condition. I think there are areas where the smoothness of the leather is completely worn away. Those areas will remain darker than the rest.

Comments; dimensions are about 7.5" height, 9" width, 3" depth. I find the number a bit H82 -9870 odd. This court was one of my first purchases from thrift stores about 2 years ago when (I believe) I was not aware of tpf. I don't think I have had this authenticated, I was unable to locate it here. I have purchased all of these bags from thrift stores and they are all in pretty good condition save one I put pics up in the rehab thread.
