Wow! Thank you so much! I wasnt sure is rehabbing it was a good thing. Like in antique furniture it lowers the price. Thank you! I'm planning on listing it on Etsy.
For purses, rehabbing is usually a good thing up to a point. If it only involves cleaning and conditioning but not altering the bag, that's good. Painting or dyeing is something purists frown upon.

this is ongoing right now. would be interested to know if this is authentic.

I don't believe that bag can be authenticated because it looks like the seller photoshopped the serial number so it's not legible.

If you request a picture, please post it.

BTW, the style is highly faked so without a serial number, I don't recommend buying it.

ETA: Does the font look funny to anyone else?

Yes, it looks a little weird to me. It looks like "clove" instead of "glove." The zipper pull and pocket size appear correct.

thank you @BeenBurned! better safe than sorry

I'm sorry I'm late. I can't tell if the seller purposely obliterated the number or if there isn't any. If you got it, post a picture of the creed when you receive it.

@whateve no worries-and no need to apologize. thank u for helping too. I saw it late anyway and I ddnt feel safe with how the creed looked as well. thanks @BeenBurned and @whateve for the speedy reply.

It looks good to me too but I found several other 8A09 bags, none of which have "suede" in the text of the creeds. But the others weren't made in the same factory (20) of the one you're asking about and it could be a plant error.

I've found several different wordings on creeds (some with "genuine cowhide leather" and others with "the finest materials trimmed with genuine leather") so I think it depends on where the bag was made. All were Chinese plants, just different ones.
Thank You BeenBurned! Have not been here since 12 Oct and I missed your last post for me. Thanks Again!!!

Hi everyone

Would someone please authenticate this bag in my possession. It’s a Station bag with a very odd creed where I cannot find another example of the “made in the United States” storypatch on another 1997 D plant bag and the month character is missing. It also has a stamp that I believe says “Donated” to the right of the creed.

thanks so much, authenticators.
