I'm not completely comfortable with the serial number stamping in that bag. There are several very small differences in it compared to other stamps from bags made in the same plant within a few months of the date codes in this one.And when enlarged, the Coach logo at the top of the creed is pretty beat up, the top of the "O" is actually missing.

I'm not saying it's fake but I'm not comfortable saying it's genuine either.

More opinions are requested.

I'm not sure I can recall an M month code where the point came all the way to the bottom of the M.

I don't know whether the bag is authentic or not but I definitely wouldn't recommend buying it, especially if you ever plan to resell should you tire of it.

Here are a couple more M0D creeds. In addition to the difference in the M, the space between the serial number and the creed border is considerably larger on the comps than on the bag in question:

Here are the creed and serial photos just in case the listing vanishes:

Another authentication please? I've recoated the strap edges on this one, which considering the excellent condition of the bag itself, makes me wonder. Any info on style name would also be great! Thanks!!

It looks ok to me. Equestrian Zip from 1997

I don't recommend amazing8_bargains8. My records show that the seller had several fakes over the last few months.

Additionally, in at least some of the listings such as THIS ONE, the seller steals pictures from other sellers. The gallery pic was stolen.

JMHO.
Thank you, BeenBurned. I am not sure to which stolen photo you are referring but have decided to pass on this bag.
And thank you, Hyacinth, for your authentication.

New to this site

Bought these 2 bags today and I know nothing about how to tell if they are real or fake. Any help is appreciated. The first one the leather is soft and flexible. The second one is much stiffer.

Thank you for any insight.

Hello,
I found this bag while thrifting at Goodwill. I think that is a Station Bag. However, some features have me questioning itsStation Bag Tan.jpg Creed 1.jpg Creed 2.jpg Creed 3.jpg Brown Station Bag 2.jpg Brown Station Bag 3.jpg Brown Station Bag 4.jpg authenticity. The code in the bag is difficult to read. I think it reads J5D (Made in the US). The second set of numbers read either 5180 (which is a briefcase) or 5130 which would match the Station Bag. The stitching around the top inside flap also looks like it was pieced vs my Station Bag which made in Costa Rica. Please take a look and give me your thoughts. This bag needs quite a bit of work turn-lock needs new back, etc. I do not want to put in effort on a fake.

Thank you.
